:thx2: :thx2: Very nice track bike! How do those Michelin race tires do? I'm liking these tires. So far I've tried the Power Race Mediums and Power Race (PRC (front) & PR5 (rear)), which is what I have on right now. The Power Race Mediums are tires you can buy at most moto-shops, including online vendors. PRC and PR5 are usually sold at the track. Both sets were good but the PRC front and PR5 were noticeably better. Tire profile is a bit more aggresive making the contact patch a bit bigger while at lean and I believe the compound is a bit softer as well.

Sick bike man! How you like the cheetah's? Ever been down with those? How'd they hold up? : Thanks Ceo  They actually held up ok. The frame sliders, swingarm spools, clipon and REARSETS (Rearsets were brand new and went on the night before :motz:) absorbed most of it. :idk: Rearset http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b8df28b3127cceb32fa57bdd7300000026100AZuGzNuzbOGMA Tail section got a lil shredded and the mounting points broke. http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b8df28b3127cceb32fa57a5c4200000026100AZuGzNuzbOGMA Upper wasn't too bad, mainly cracked the paint. Mounting points intact. http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b8df28b3127cceb32fa5645c5c00000026100AZuGzNuzbOGMA Some duct tape on the tail section and lots of cable ties and it was ready to go back out! That's why I figure they held up ok....they were still usable. http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b8df28b3127cceb32fa57fdd7700000026100AZuGzNuzbOGMA I tried messing with glass and bondo but realized I suck and have no patience so I just bought a new set. http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b8df28b3127cceb32fa567dd6f00000026100AZuGzNuzbOGMA :cin: For the price, fit and overall quality, I woud say they are pretty good.

That rearset looks like it did a great job keeping the bike off the ground.... solid mount footpegs FTW!!! Did the bolt that holds the footpeg in bend at all? Was it easy to get it off? Those plastics held up great from what I can see. How fast were you going when you went down? By the way that last picture is friggin awesome. Nice form. And we have the same boots!

And we have the same boots! The bolts were a lil bent but not too difficult to get off. It wasn't that fast of a turn, one of those tight ones where you can get real low. I think I got a lil careless with the throttle coming out and it just spun out from under me...I'd say like 45-50 mph. It was weird, kinda like running over the banana peel on super mario kart. :slol: How do you like the boots? I really like them except they squeak like a mofo. I just got me some new Corsa Airs, haven't ridden on them yet but I tried them on around the house and they seem to fit even better...and no squeak!

Mine are vertigo airs and I love them... haven't had any squeaking issues with them, either. Those corsas will be nice, but they were too much bling as well as money for me...

45-50 isn't too bad... Yeah on the track, it was like a "textbook" lowside so it wasn't too bad. I'm just thankful and glad it was on the track!

I didn't feel ANY bad feedback from these tires when I hit the track last September. Definately a pretty penny though. Mine were around $400. Can't wait to get back to the states and put another TD on 'em.

What track did you go down at? Buttonwillow. It was on the Star Mazda Turn, running it backwards. i like the mods, all go for sure. With that beuaitful paintjob though you gotta wanna avoid haivng to redo it again im sure. Thanks mang. Paint is actually not THAT great in person, but yeah...rather not have to redo it again any time soon! HA HA how do you like the stomp grip? It's a good mod. Really helps when getting on the brakes.

Yeah on the track, it was like a "textbook" lowside so it wasn't too bad. I'm just thankful and glad it was on the track! Yeah, I was doing around that speed when I went down at the track... actually slower probably like 35. I agree. I have the PRC/PR5 combo as well. Mine were around $400. Damn that's a lot of ching. I'm gonna grab a set of corsa III's before this season starts up. how do you like the stomp grip? I've got one, just haven't had a chance to throw it on yet. I'm still thinking about trying to find an 08 gas tank conversion...
