First things first... this is for those of you that don't have access to a trailer! :bonk: Take a good nice one piece working bike http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l311/cjclark69/BDM/WS/hotdg123.jpg Ok, so now you must tear down your bike into pieces. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l311/cjclark69/BDM/OUCH/TearDown/Day6059.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l311/cjclark69/BDM/OUCH/TearDown/Day6052.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l311/cjclark69/BDM/OUCH/TearDown/Day6026.jpg Now carefully load the hallow frame that should look something like this. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l311/cjclark69/BDM/OUCH/TearDown/Day6062.jpg Into the SUV of choice http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l311/cjclark69/BDM/OUCH/TearDown/haulin004.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l311/cjclark69/BDM/OUCH/TearDown/haulin005.jpg But be carefull of such things as the neck hittin the roof http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l311/cjclark69/BDM/OUCH/TearDown/haulin008.jpg Then add in the goods nessicary to be "rollin rollin rolliiiin" in style... You know like wheels, fenders, forks, swingarms, and handlebars... http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l311/cjclark69/BDM/haulin003.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l311/cjclark69/BDM/haulin002.jpg Then when you get to your destination... bust it out, put it together and pimp on bietches!! :dthumb: :slol:  :slol:  :slol: *No actual big dog motorcycles were harmed in this parity, no me and Doug weren't drunk, and it was done in pure entertainment of ourselves, then I thought I would share!

What are you talking about? In the SUV pile the rear fender doesn't have anything on it but dirt and scratches where the fender struts use to be. Nice work, maby now you should sell the parts and get the sport bike!!:slol: "the sport bike"??? the open belt primary ALONE retails for $3,000 and you're talking about "singular" bikes? :skep: Oh and being admin you shouldnt let all this :whore: go on in your posts!! very effective way to transport it. my friend and I did the same thing with my CB to bring it home when I got it. but we didnt dismantle the bike, just the van. seats come out, bike go in.

You need to get rid of that front fender. Then it would be perfect.

Nice Big Dog Gas Man ! What big dog... its a pile of parts! if you had the SUV of your choice... why'd you choose that one? Have you rode in a AWD SS like that? I can't reasonably plaster you to the seat. You need to get rid of that front fender. Then it would be perfect. I have been thinking of doing that... tight fit, i cant wait to see this thing in person The SS or bike? Hum  just how long did it take to take it apart and how long to put it back together? I thought this was a joke thread, I didn't realize you actually did this. nice I did take it apart as you can see in the phoenix thread and it will go back together just not yet. IT WAS A JOKE!!! I did transport just the frame this way for some minor work to be done... it was easier than using the trailer. All the other parts and the general idea of the thread was a joke...

Thinkin if you can afford the SS... and the big dog... you can afford a damn trailer to haul it in! Or keep a truck to haul it. And i'm thinking that the performance of the SS is similar to the Grand Cherokee SRT8. and that moves!

Gas Man
01-12-2008, 01:29 AM

with GMan's claim of 400&400 it damn well better break them loose or that's one HEAVY ASS BITCH! The SRT is 420 & 420. runs a 255/45R20 front and a 285/45R20 rear same GVWR as a reg grand cherokee... i think around 6000 lbs.

unless it's run'n slicks it should at the very least cherp'm you feel the rear wash a lil bit... can get it really sideways with enough right foot input, and a bit of sand on the streets. OH... and it's not made for gas milage... 12/15

buying that thing for gas mileage is like taking a stripper home to meet mom and dad That's kinda like the guy that comes in to test drive a Navigator... and then asks what kind of milage it gets. It's like dude... if you can afford that, you can afford the gas to put in it. Average monthly payment on that is more that my HOUSE PAYMENT!!

SOOO nice... though I still keep full coverage... just incase... and for two trucks and a bike it's 160 a month... so I can live

Not all SS are AWD... they offer a rear wheel drive. And with the AWD it really don't blaze tires... it just launches! Especially with the 20's

I don't know... no way on the RWD. The biggest problem with the SRT is that its a Jeep. Jeeps suck IMO and they don't have crap on the looks dept again IMO. You couldn't pay me to have anything with a Jeep tag on it unless it was an old wrangler with a chevy 350 coversion. My brother and a few buddies have all had them and EVERY ONE OF THEM blew! POS Here's my take... You want HP get a bow tie. You want class get a blue oval. You want POS get a jeep. Again :2cents: not that it matters cause I don't care. Its a lease and as much as I like it, it will go back in 33 more months. But now we are debating my SS again and taking away from my joke thread.
