Things that annoy you/Pet Peeves

My biggest one happens usually when I'm tired. i hate it when I can hear people chew their food even when their mouth is closed. When they chew w/ their mouth open I just want to slam them in the face. my other one is when people talk during movies. my attention span is short enough, and it's hard to follow a movie when someones talkin.

I have to agree on the movie thang...especially in a theater..I dont pay $9 bucks to see a movie to hear the 14 year old in the back of me with her 17 year old uncle squeeling... there are quite few things, but I hate when someone tries to tell me that I said something I didn't or when they try to tell me that they told me something and didn't. people that interrupt while I am talking (after 2 kids you would think I would get use to this)

There was a lot of woods across the street from my house with what appeared to be an abandoned house in it. Well some friends and I decided to make some trails and turn it into a BMX bike track, plus a place to hang out after school and stay outa trouble. Well, one day this old lady with two of those like "arm-walker canes" came in and started swinging saying that they were her woods, we had to leave. We told her no, then she blamed us for the disappearance of her cats. Well, after she almost hit me with her cane-thingy and my friend, we decided to, well aide her in the disappearance of her cats. So we found the big grown cats, not the kittens, and started to hold them up to the trees and shoot them with my friends BBgun. My other friend, who was always on something (weed/dust/acid/etc) took like two steak knives from his house and held up the cats to the tree and stuck the steak knives through their eyes, then watched them scream and squirm on the trees. He said the sound was "beautiful".

Many of my close friends are in the 3RD ID, 3RD BDE, 317th Engineers. That was the unit that I was with when I was at Ft. Benning. I would be there right now if I didn't get out due to many medical reasons. I always think about them, write to them, send them things, try to keep up their spirits and even going to ride the bike from TX to CO to NY to GA (Ft Benning when they come back so I can see them and visit) to FL and then back to TX. I care deeply for all soldiers in all branches especially ones who have a really F'ed up chain of command that don't care about their soldiers.

What all does everybody do that you would consider to be incurred by OCD and what all pet peeves do you have? For OCD, if i am walkin on the sidewalk, i can't step on the cracks/lines in it. I will take a half step or jump to avoid it a lot of times. I have too many pet peeves to list. Main ones are bad grammar, bad hygiene, and people being general douche bags.

:lol: Thats just funny!! I have a touch of OCD, i just keep it in check. My issues are primarily with things needing to be a certain way, like balanced and all. Think picture frames...I just dont allow myself to act on those impulses...i do however often find myself doing the same thing with sidewalks and tile floors, not step on the lines etc...seriously, waaayyy too many to list... I think everyone has a touch of it, its all in how you handle yourself!

Iget my mind set on doin something I tend to let everything else go to hell until I get it done. Thats my Pet Peeve....right up there :) The whole Gotta have it now and screw the consequences! Other things that irk me is when you are talking to someone and you know they aren't listening to a thing you say. The 20 mins later they ask you something like "What are you doing tomorrow" and you told them already they just didn't listen. I am OCD about food. I will only eat real chicken nothing processed. No canned meats except for tuna fish and crab meat. Cheese has to be from the deli or like real cheddar or I won't eat that either. No onions or peas. I will pick my food apart if I have to LOL. Hamburgers have to be only made by me out of real ground beef. I will not eat a burger out unless theres no choice. Like when I went to disney, sometimes it was all you could get quickly. (I don't eat hot dogs either) I had to choose my evil LOL. I also am adamant about cooking things from scratch. I will not use Jarred spaghetti sauce, thats the italian in me.

I'm one of those its gotta be done right or its not gonna be done guys. in terms of what gets my blood boiling, people who sugar coat everything, or live in this happy fantasy world where walt disney wasnt an anti semite are on my top 2. invading my personal space is right up there too. I'm not so much OCD as I am anal about my life. Everything at my work, house, garage, vechicles have to be "just so". Wifey has some OCD. She will check, and double check stuff all the time when we're going to bed or leaving.. door locks, garage door, house alarm, coffee pot off or set, fridge doors closed, stove off (even if we haven't used it in days, she worries somebody is going to bump on the burners leaking gas into the house), where are the cats (worried they are locked in a closet), ect. Pet Peeves... OMG way too many to list. Topping the list off the top of my head. Ignorant People People that lie people that can't drive people that don't take their jobs seriously, especially jobs that directly effect me

pretty much anything the guy in the cube across from me does is a pet peeve of mine. Andrea is pretty good at annoying me as well.

I have to have geometric symmetry in a lot of things. I also hate even numbers because there is no middle. I also hate tardiness. I expect people to be punctual, it is a sign of respect. Some bish was 30 mins late to a date the other night, it almost totally ruined the evening... then she bought me alcohol.

I cant stand clutter. It drives me crazy. Im kind of a clean freak. I shower often and am constantly washing my hands. Oh and as far as pet peeves. Theivery,dishonesty, and tardiness. :cheers:

I am one of those people that before I meet someone I have already decided whether or not I like them. I am an ass to most people and if i don't like you then you will know. well, working retail for the past 7 years have led me to dislike people in general, i think the general public are complete idiots!!! i have a routine i do about ten times before i leave the house. it goes something like this..... wallet? check. phone? check. keys? check. lighter? check. cigarettes? check.( although i'm trying to quit) knife? check. and then repeat. wallet, keys, phone, lighter , cigs, knife. and everything has to be in a certain pocket. my biggest peeves are cell phones and idiot drivers. the quickest way to piss me off is to talk trash on the phone. :cursin:

I hate people who use read receipts in their emails. I always use the preview pane to read the email and delete it without opening it so they never know I read it.

I always carry my phone in my left pocket, partially the reason i got the moto slvr so it doesn't stick out of my pocket so far, and wallet in my back right pocket. I always have my necklace on that has my football # on it, but is about to be changed to a STG for my best friend who died in a car accident December 12 2005. My pledge pin goes on my shirt 2 inches above me left nipple. Keys always go in my right pocket when I have them with me. Everything always has to be in its place.

So, 5 minutes later, I went down to the dealer and put a deposit on an '08 ZX 10R. Had no clue what it would look like or anything. Just knew that's what I wanted. Turned out I like it a lot. I keep everything just so, all organized and aligned, clean too. Ask anyone who knows me. Or look at my apartment. I have a ton of pet peeves too. I remembered another huge pet peeve of mine. I hate it when people talk to me about something they know nothing about and argue with me like they are right. You don't know chit mother flucker. A guy was hardcore trying to say that busa's are the coolest bikes and you could get and that quarter mile racing would be a bigger adrenaline rush than a track would be. That was when I told him once he sits his ass on a bike he can talk to me about it and I walked off.
