How can this be. I thought the GSXR was the best, so why is it the cheapest of the 600s. I might have to look into getting one of these. also, who knows what it will look like next year. Could be a chance to get a legend for a fair price. Im going to the bike show in NY in january. Im sure this will help me choose. But the black and white GSXR is looking sweet, so is the all black yamaha, but if you compare prices and percentages, the honda and kawasaki, just dont seem worth the price difference.

It is the best. No thinking about it. They will sell more then any other brand and make so much money so they can afford to keep the price down to get more to buy a GSXR. :dthumb:

Well, I went to check out some bikes and the GSXR 600 is selling for the same price as an R6. Are the dealers cutting deals on the GSXR 600? How much under MSRP will they let one go for?

Well, I went to check out some bikes and the GSXR 600 is selling for the same price as an R6. Then your area is a good one for dealers. When I was calling around to the dealers we have relationships with for OEM parts for the service shop, no one would come off an R6 (they are selling every one they get at MSRP or more - they had little reason to wholesale one), whereas I had 2 offers to buy a GSXR very cheap (as a wholesale deal) because they had too many and they weren't selling as well. It's going to vary by area and this IS the hottest time of the year for bike sales, but calling around you can probably get a decent deal on a GSXR. - Roach

Im sure parts sharing between the 750 helps keep the cost down. So its not that painfull to let em go for less.

Actually, I think Triumph Daytona is the cheapest "600" class bike out there at the moment. It is also unfortunate that the Gixxers are being overlooked compared to the other sport bikes in the same class.

anyone know if the Ninja600s are selling well? I was checking out the GSXRs and the 636s a few weeks ago and they are both pretty damn cool. I was surprized how much i really liked the new GSXR1000, man that thing is sweet.
