They shouldn't care, they want your $. bradiniowa 03-04-2008, 07:26 AM You don't need a license to register any vehicle in your name. I know a friend of mine got a little hassled trying to insure his zx9r before he had his license but his agent is an ******* (used to be my agent). Insurance would have to cover it even if you're not riding it so it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to need a license because you don't need a license to store it. Pippi 03-04-2008, 10:31 AM My State Farm agent confirmed I had my endorsement. Before I got my endorsement I rode for 2 years w/o it and had insurance with Farmers, they never asked for it so guess it depends. All in all I would encourage you to get an endorsement anyway to be on the safe side. It's a big ticket/fine now here in Michigan. airforceranger49 03-06-2008, 07:25 AM it just depends on the insurance company... when i got my first bike, i didnt have my endorsement yet... and they still covered me... it was just alot cheaper once i got the good ol' M... ucoby 03-06-2008, 07:53 PM not in oklahoma....$159 a year Eycman 03-06-2008, 11:52 PM not in oklahoma....$159 a year
What is $159 a year? your insurance? If so you have a good insurance company or nothing on your record at all.
I am in Oklahoma and I have had progressive for a little over a week. I had to file a $1300 claim today; for some dumb **** sitting on my bike while i was at work and dropping it; not once was I asked if I had my endorsement. So I guess it just depends on where you live and wether or not you know the cops in your area. airforceranger49 03-08-2008, 02:36 PM What is $159 a year? your insurance?
