Does anyone know why Polaris stop building jet skis? Polaris is owned by John Deere isn't it? I can't find any information on it. I know they lost an $8.3 million dollar law suit a while back because of a female passenger who had her rectum "destroyed" when she fell of the back of a jet ski. ouch VERDICT - PRODUCTS LIABILITY - DESIGN DEFECT - NEGLIGENCE - PLAINTIFF PASSENGER ON PERSONAL WATERCRAFT STRUCK BY WATER JET - JET STREAM FROM WATERJET OF MACHINE DESTROYED PLAINTIFF'S RECTUM. The female plaintiff fell off the back of a Polaris jet ski and p 7 3 the jet stream that comes off the back of the machine destroyed the plaintiff's rectum, doing permanent injury to her internal organs and intestinal tract.
