First Time at the track. Richmond Dragway.

Hello im James. I posted an intro, but came to this forum pretty much for this section. On April 11th was the first time ever at the dragstrip. Running Metz ME880's, not a good thing on a bike with this much power. 1st Run = 18.9569 @ 99.34 mph Almost went into the wall at the start finally got it straight down the track. 2nd Run = 13.3639 @ 102.79, 60' 2.3 3rd Run = 13.2598 @ 102.20, 60' 2.3 This was my very frst time running on a track. It was a blast!! Im going every other Friday night when the Street Drags are held.

Kewl bike! how was it launching for the first time? I want to try the strip this year and the start has me a bit nervous

I was really excited had the RPM's up too high and didnt do a burn out before hand. I almost went into the wall. Video up there ^^^ I just saw that that you have a Kat 1100. My best friend has one also. Taking it to the track when its ready. He bought it from another friend for $600. Only needed a new front tire.
