I'll try to keep i short and to the point....
Got rid of my last street bike in 95, (700SC Nighthawk-S...awesome bike), also previously rode 91 CBR1000, 87 GS550L. Finally got the wife warmed up to the idea of getting another street bike. Gas prices is my excuse...Currently ride CRF450R Motocross bike. I'm a farily conservative rider, but I'm a closet power junkie...
I've narrowed my choices down to the SV650, SV1000s, and Bandit-1200. My only fear of going with the 650 is the power. But, it fits the budget ($4k-$4.5k)I set for myself,and everyone seems to love them...and I'm digging the idea of a twin...and I like the Suzuki's.... Which leads me to my question....
For the same price of a clean used SV650, I've also found slightly higher mileage or 1-2yr older litre bikes like the SV1000 & Bandit 1200 around the same price.
But can anyone tell me...how does the Bandit 1200 and SV1000 compare? Thanks for your insight.
