Another BMW Recall [Archive] - TwoWheelForum: Motorcycle and Sportbike forums

Looks like BMW is having some problems with their motorcycles: BMW R1200 (http://www.erecalled.com/commonConsole/recallalert.asp?alert=PZ08G000653) I think this brings their total to 6 motorcycle recalls this year.

see the number of units.. 46 motorcycles.. sounds like a bad batch from the materials provider. Not exactly a severe issue, and no accidents reported. BMW's new superbike is gonna be sweet, i wouldnt think twice aobut their reliability. If im gonna spend some $ in the next couple years id be torn between the BMW and the Aprilia RSV4, though the rsv4 may be quite a bit higher then the bmw, and in a slightly different class.
