When WOS was down a bit ago....DYNO show me a sit that has some pretty good flushmonts. Now they do have a nice price to them but they are really bright and look good. I have seen them first hand on his bike and would like to get a set someday. Click here (http://greggscustoms.com/600rr_f4i.htm) for the site. Enjoy.

Here is a pic of what it looks like for my bike. What do you think of them?

Are they running lights as well? Or just off until they blink.... I won a set of flushmounts from a different forum a while back, but I never installed them because they are just the 2 wire setup, meaning no running lights.. I like running lights :) I think that my stock are much more visible anyway, and it's hard enough to have your blinkers seen as it is!

Looking on the site it shows them as a 2 wire only. Here is what they say about them: Gregg's flushmount housings are CNC machined 6061 aluminum works of art. Available in Black, White, and Polished to match your GSXR. The lights are 6 chip L.E.D.'s with a 100,000 hour life and they are available in AMBER only! No drilling or grinding required. Simple "bolt-in" installation (instructions included with purchase). "Non-Light" signal "Recess Plugs" are now available, they are the same CNC machined 6061 aluminum for a perfect fit and are available polished or in assorted colors to match your bike. No drilling or grinding required. Simple "bolt-in" installation. Hope this helps.

lol what the heck does 'non-light' signal mean??

lol what the heck does 'non-light' signal mean?? Means they are only one when the turn signal is flashing. LOL

Dude congrats on the flushmounts!! They look sweet. Gregg's makes nice flushmounts and they fit awesome from what I've seen. Haven't been to his site in a while, but he doesn't make them for all makes and models, just a few of the more popular models. Unfortunately I don't have a closeup view of mine and it's two damn cold to uncover the bike in the garage. I'll grab a shot this weekend once it warms up and I'm working in the garage for a bit. The lights are only two wires, (Ground and Positive), unlike your stock front flashers they are equivalent to a single filament bulb so they are designed to be on all the time or on only when the turn signals are flashing. However, you can set them up to run solid and start to flash when you turn. Actually you can set any single filament bulb to behave like a double filament, but you just have to be a little creative with the wiring. Look for one of two things. You'll either need a third brake flasher module (technically called a CHIMSEL "Center HI Mounted Stop Light") or a relay(s). Before CHIMSEL lights were standard and required by law, most autoparts stores sold a "Third Brake Flasher Module" to prevent the aftermarker brake lights from flashing when installed on cars that didn't have amber rear turn signals. You can adapt this to bikes by running the parking lights to the brake light input and the LH & RH signals to the RH & LH Inputs. As strange as this sounds, wire the brake light output wire back to both turn signals with a couple of radio shack diodes in line. The diodes will keep the turn signals from flashing simultaneously providing you install it the correct way. Diodes are directional and prevent positive voltage from flowing backwards and feeding into the module. They may have a flasher module that can split the signal without the diodes but you may have to ask around and confuse a bunch of sales people before finding one. There may also be a straight relay setup that will work. Find a good Radio Shack with a smart rep and they can set you up. Again, you may have to filter through a couple radio shacks before finding the right guy(gal). I believe you'll need a pair of 12 Volt DC Always On Single Pole Single Throw (also referred to as a 12VDC NC SPST) probably like 5 amps, maybe ten, may need to experiment a little. Write Gregg's and he might be able to point you in the right direction, otherwise I can probably draw up a schematic for you. Also when you switch to LED's you'll need to takeout your stock flasher unit and replace it with a time-dependant flasher rather then a load-dependant. Also available at most auto parts stores. The resistor rating for LED's is lower then the stock 157 bulbs in your OEM's so your flashers will flash super fast when you use the OEM flasher unit. If you keep your rear's stock, the problem won't be too bad. Gregg's solders a resistor in his LED's and that helps, but if you put his LED's in the front and change your rear's to a lower rated bulb, the thing will flash faster then Rossi down the straight-away. Good Luck, Jeff

My blinkers go fast on my bike after installing LEDs in the front and rear. But I like it! So in a 3 sec span my blinker blinks like 6 times instead of 3 times!!!

The only problem with those flush mounts is they won't be able to be seen from the front like normal turn signals.

The only problem with those flush mounts is they won't be able to be seen from the front like normal turn signals. Agreed, but with the R6's you can do a European Park Light conversion on US bikes. Which means.....Because they have so many bikes parked on the street at night, they incorporate a low power bulb inside the headlight. Instead of pulling the key out in "OFF", you remove it in "PARK" and the headlight stays illuminated, but just really dim. Equivalent of a White taillight in front, nothing super bright, just enough so that it doesn't get run over....hopefully. On R6's the light is placed in the upper outboard corners of each light. Check out the website if you are interested in the details http://sportbikeguy.com/garage/floor/headlight-mod.html I put amber 194 bulbs in the corners and use them for turn signals in addition to the Gregg's. They aren't the brightest, but every little bit helps.

The only problem with those flush mounts is they won't be able to be seen from the front like normal turn signals. That is exactly the problem I have. I would like to replace my crab eyes with something else but I want to be seen! I want to make sure people know I am turning or changing lanes. Well Captain, I guess we should design and build something, whatcha think?

Well Captain, I guess we should design and build something, whatcha think? Well, after cerveja's comment about the R6 European lights, I did a search on ebay. Check this out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2484971089&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT If you look closely at the bottom of the picture, you can see there are flushmounts on the bike as well. I think I like that setup! I would think there would be some way to do that for all bikes.

I love that e-bay ad with the disclaimer on it. LOWER YOUR INSURANCE ON YOUR BIKE!* *(check with your insurance agency; this feature varies by state and county regulations/not guaranteed)* Like it's really going to lowere your rate. The bike comes with DOT approved legally required signals that you chop off and replace with signals half the size that are most likely not DOT approved and wouldn't pass inspection and this is going to lower your rates. Okay, let me jump right on that......
