decision time

hi im trevor new to sportsbikes have riden dirtbikes and stuff im 16 almost 6'4 and about 190 i have already taken my class and now looking for a bike i want a Kawasaki ninja 650r but not sure if thats to big and should go with a 250 instead?

any help will be appreciated
