I was wondering if you guys could tell me your opinion on the Honda 1000rr compaired to an F4i.
I was thinking of going for a new 600rr but I have heard they arent as comfortable. I want to upgrade to something faster with more power but I would still like it to be fairly comfortable because I ride with my GF on the back a lot.
So obviously the 1000rr will have tons more power but how do they ride compaired to the F4i. Im probably going to buy a 08-09 1000rr but if I see a smoking deal for a -07 Ill consider it.
Thanks for your help!

What to buy depends on what you style of riding you are going to do. If you are using it for street riding and commuting, the 1000 RR is a good choice. If you are going to do any track days or "spirited" street riding, go with the 600. 95% of the people I haave done track days with on their 1000 cc bikes, have them for sale quickly to buy a 600. I know the track in my backyard, JenningsGP, is a 600 track and you will not be able to use the speed of the 1000, so why muscle the extra weight around. I prefer the F4i, because it has the speed and handling for the street or track, and ergos that don't beat me up

I purchased a brand new 1000rr over the weekend and I must say that Im in love. I havent had a chance to ride it much but from what I can tell so far its much smoother than the F4i. There isnt much vibration in the handles at all. The power is very linear. The riding position is actually a lot more comfortable than I thought it was going to be. I test drove a 07 600rr before I bought the 1000rr and I hated the 600rr. It was like riding on a log. Very stiff and uncomfortable. The ride isnt quite as cushy as a F4i but I wasnt expecting that.
Its probably the best bike Ive ever ridden.
