I came over here from SBN to get away from all the BS over there. Every thread, it seems like, is flaming and personal attacks, and it just seems to get way out of control. Be careful posting advertising for another site on the wall of Fred's business...

This is a classic example of a youngin with too much time on his hands and not enough responsibilities. The rest of us appreciate the some what slower pace here. That is why I never really started to post on those other sites!

We dont mind if people advertise our site when posting on others like SBN, SBC, etc..however you need todo it discreetly..you cant just post up a thread at SBN saying, hey, come post on TWF, or yes Fred will probably just delete it. If you really wanna promote our site, you can stick a link to it in your signature, like "others" of us do :dthumb:

I'm a member of SBN, and have been long before I decided to do this. What I do on other sites, as an administrator here, is different that someone from here that is not an admin or mod.

Well, in the winter time, the slow pace isn't any fun. But in the summer, I'll be riding too much to post. :D

I am also a fan of the 'slower' boards. It's too much hassle to keep up when there are so many new posts to sort through. The same is true of my car club board. It's a lot slower than the bigger ones which is why I prefer it. That, and you get to know people on the boards better too.

I don't know how I feel about the speed of a board... since I us Mozilla... I have 6 bike forums as my home page... :screwy:and I post on most of them daily.. maybe I it's a phase that I go through and post on one more then the others... - :leaving:

I think they're talking about the slower pace, meaning since their arent as many members here on TWF, it isnt as hard to catch up on new posts each time you stop in. :dthumb: I post on 4 forums every day..and 2 more atleast a few times a week. TWF was created to be a place to hang out and chat and exhange bike information and stories and discuss riding and how to's and pretty much everything under the sun in the sport bike world. . we were never created to be an SBN, now if we turn into a place like that, size wise, that's great !! but we will NEVER turn into an SBN in terms of the arguing, and back-biting that goes on there. NO worries there! Our members make us great and we continue to bring in cool ones like you all!! :dthumb: 3
