Can't lift the front end up

I can't figure out how to do a wheelie. I read Nick Hill's thread and it just seems more difficult to me. I'm afraid to pop the clutch, I can see myself flying off. My 650 just doesn't have the power to life the front up. What can I do?

maybe you need viagra :smilelol: OUCH!!! :smilelol: When I was learning to do it, popping the clutch...I did it alittle bit at a time..give alittle throttle, then pop it..then next time, alittle more, then pop it...it got me used to feeling how much of a jump/jerk I would get at the time. Of course, I killed the gears/clutch in my yamaha trying it that way, so it's certainly not the method of choice.

i remember one bike i couldnt wheelie. it was a older 250. forgot what brand it was, but i dropped the clutch at 9grand and nothin. my friend had an older katana 600 and he couldnt wheelie on it. i got on and dumped the clutch and she popped up. just keep tryin. it'll come eventually.
