anyone street race?

i know your not supposed to do it, but me and buddys do it all the time and we never get caught we usually do it late an night when its safer anyway i creamed my friends gixxer750 last night. he hit a false neutral and redlined that sucker and i just pulled away!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :smilelol:

back when i had my zx-11 and zx-9, i used to ride with a bunch of guys. every night it was a race. it used to be a ball. i need more people to ride with :(

Just got back from a ride. I think I raced someone. The guy pulled up next to me on some space ship looking machine . he was hitin the gas and got in the leaning postion, I just sat there for a second or two as he putted off. Then I just stood that gsx-r 1000 up right passed him and saw a dot in the mirror!!!!!!!!!! :bike: :smilelol:

I've seen some of those bikes, if we are thinking of the same thing..there are 2 of them around my area...its a bike, enclosed in full fiberglass type bubble, right? yeah they arent much for the whole speed thing..you could have probably run faster than him.. :smilelol:

I had 2 Gsxr 650 try to get a jump on me at a red light. They were 3 cars down from me at 4 am on my way to work. They started to get on it when they saw the light at the intersection getting ready to turn green. They shot passed me but from a dead stop I beat both of them around 165. I think they were getting scared. I'm glad becouse I was two. :eek:

I dont' really try to street race, but when me and Need4Speed go riding we just get on it and go and just have fun. Next time I will race him to see who wins. :D

Nice to get on it and get some speed quickly also. :) nah, we dont officially race and be stupid about it in traffic and all that..but if someone does come up and issues that subtle challenge, we aint backing down if we can help it. did I just contradict myself there? yeah probably, but oh well..we have fun, and we're sensible about it, so eh, its all good. :D

If the speed fits....wear it with pride.....that's all I'm going to say!

Not on my bike, a couple of us get pretty aggressive, though. My car is a different story. . ran a friend's C5 w/ a 100 shot a couple weeks ago, that was fun. :thumbs:

That reminds me one night last year I was coming home from the sticks in my vette and ran into a pack of crotch rockets on a pretty empty interstate. We had a few runs starting from about 80mph and I pulled most of them. Then a guy comes up from the back and we're rolling at 100. . I hit it and he lifts his bike to 12 oclock to the point I couldn't even see the rider. As soon as his wheel touched back down he was GONE. F'n nuts. :crazy: I'm heads, cam, longtubes, no cats, etc etc, other than litre bikes I don't have much trouble pulling them from 80 or 90 and up. Below that's a different story, though.

thats the thing that puzzles me when these jokers in tricked out 4-wheelers wanna race a bike all the time..especially in a rural or city area..theres no way they're beating any kind of decent bike, light to light...then when you smoke them, they get all pissed off and fly by you like they're all that and a bag of chips!! :bonk:

True, but every now and then you might run into a cage that can run with bikes. One friend's Supra is to the point where he can only run bikes b/c other cars are almost pointless. He's trapping 148-ish, so even busas, etc, need to have at least a few minor mods.

Trap or attract? I attract lot of cops!!! But if your talking about dragging, I have only done it on the street. I'm of a GP racer not a drag racer. Altho it is fun to school squids and chromed out BUSA's at the lights. I have been thinking about going to strip to give it a try.

Iam waiting for the PCIIIR-USB and the TRD to show up. Only have a Full Tri-oval system and K&N. I was more stating a egostistcal squid statment to make myself sound cool, in front of my peers....lol I spend all the big bucks on my Race 750. It has or is getting the above. PCII, K&N, Yosh stage1 cams, manual cam chain tensioner, Yosh tri-oval system and port job. Oh and it regeared depending on the track....da!!! After I dyno it a the "Wheels of Tommorrow" I will let you know what both did.

That's gonna be badazz. . :cool: I've only done a slip on as I'm trying real hard not to get bit by a mod bug on my bike. lol
