I heard about this recall article (http://www.motorcyclenews.com/nav?page=motorcyclenews.articles.articleCategory.article&resourceId=1105680&articleCategory=NEWS_NEW-BIKES) from another site. It's hard to tell but it looks like it may be Europe only. Makes we wonder if they are safe here.
You can go to the Kawasaki website (http://www.buykawasaki.com/Default.asp?strContentURL=site/VIVehicleInformation/VIChooseVehicle.asp?intCatalogID=2&intParts=0) and enter your VIN to see if it falls into the recall.

Looks to be only europe as well, but I wouldnt take any chances if I was on one either...so the "front wheel", are they talking about the tire, or the rim and the rubber combined? hhmmmm.

"Kawasaki is recalling the ZX-10R and advising owners NOT TO RIDE until they have had their front wheels replaced." Good English!! "front wheels" as if they have more then one......
"Kawasaki says rear wheels are not affected. Kawasaki says it is a "vendor-manufacturing defect in the casting process" that is to blame." Definetly in the rims. Sounds like casting porosity, air bubbles trapped in the molten metal causing voids in the cast, the voids cause strees risers and which can crack the casting. That's a bad thing.
