Hey guys I'm new here and I just had a question...after I take the MSF and get all the important stuff out of the way, I plan on gettin an 05 gsxr 600...now to the question what do u think would be a good price to aim at out the door the other day I spoke to someone and they said they could do 9,200....but I know they can do better than MSRP but I'm not really sure how much under they usually are willing to go. any input would be helpful just so I have an idea thanks a lot!

For the standard gsxr600, NOT the anniversary edition, MSRP is $8299. I have a friend that works at a dealership and he showed me in the book that dealer invoice is $7400. You won't get near that on an '05, but it at least gives you an idea of what they pay. Add $100 to 150 for dealer prep.
I won't get started on the "gsxr 600 for a first bike" thing. I've done that enough and you didn't ask for advice on that. Besides, you can see those rants in other threads in this section.

Ouch...that price is a bit high. I think they saw you as a new rider and someone to take advantage of. Be careful and shop around.

:wtf: Post up the details. I would think he could refinance that if he's getting screwed on interest rate.
