Source (http://www.motorcycledaily.com/06february05_aprilia450.htm) Aprilia has already been racing its 450cc v-twin supermoto. Expect this bike, along with a street legal version, to enter production for the 2006 model year. This is a bike with close to 70 horsepower (on par with a Suzuki SV650) that weighs less than 300 pounds. It should be great fun to ride.

What your guesses on Price? I'm gonna say 7K$.....And for that price not sure i would buy it, but if itll do 130 and get 50MPG and have a tour range of 250miles, id have to consider it.... if i can ride it far enough to get to some great twisity roads it woud be a BLAST there.

Its says aprilia designed and built this motor in house, is this the only non-rotax aprilia motor?

hey it says its on par with sv650 :dthumb: I'd be willing to bet two dollars that the suspension will be light years beyond the SV's....

I'm sorry, but I was at the dealership today, Aprilia still makes a sweet bike. Too pricey for my blood, but one good looking bike though.

Not just Aprilia... Try to buy a new 400ish CC streetbike in the states at all.
