Aprilia has already been racing its 450cc v-twin supermoto. Expect this bike, along with a street legal version, to enter production for the 2006 model year.
This is a bike with close to 70 horsepower (on par with a Suzuki SV650) that weighs less than 300 pounds. It should be great fun to ride.

ScottSellersUNR 02-12-2005, 11:32 AM What your guesses on Price?
I'm gonna say 7K$.....And for that price not sure i would buy it, but if itll do 130 and get 50MPG and have a tour range of 250miles, id have to consider it.... if i can ride it far enough to get to some great twisity roads it woud be a BLAST there.
JK_DILLA 02-12-2005, 06:15 PM Its says aprilia designed and built this motor in house, is this the only non-rotax aprilia motor?
Excellent!! It's about time we had some small displacement sportbikes available again!
DAN DUBEAU 03-02-2005, 03:05 PM That engine looks like you could fit it in your back pocket

ScottSellersUNR 03-02-2005, 03:35 PM if its light enough it may be a great bike

I'd be willing to bet two dollars that the suspension will be light years beyond the SV's....

cerveja 03-26-2005, 11:33 PM I'm sorry, but I was at the dealership today, Aprilia still makes a sweet bike. Too pricey for my blood, but one good looking bike though.
ScottSellersUNR 03-27-2005, 01:25 PM You wont find amny that dont think Aprilia is one of the most beautiful bikes.
If i could affrod it id get one....wouildnt be the best all around bike but to cruise on it would get more @$$ then most bikes.
