Ride quads in the sand. Drink alittle Turkey. Work on a pull'n tractor. Not always in that order. :whistle:

Nothing really, for me. Working full time 6 days a week and going to school full time 5 days a week at two different schools, doesn't really leave much time for anything else, LOL. Nah when I have a little free time, I like travelling and going new places, or taking stuff apart just to see how it works if I have nothing else to do. I'm not really much into collecting stuff, except unique items for my car, like all the magazine advertisements and such which I frame and hang on the wall, and I have a cool glass desktop plaque thingy for the 1,000,000th Accord to roll off the Marysville, Ohio assembly plant (which was a 3rd gen, 1988). well since it's winter and i cant ride .iam takeing advantage and working on my car getting it ready for the up comming car show's this year!....i took the last 2 years off .because my girl and i had a baby .and i told her i would take some time off from the shows . he's 2 now so it's time to get back in it.cars will always be my first love , but i can feel bike's are comming in right behind it :thumbs:

First i knonw a guy selling a chevelle in very good condition 8000, i think he still has it went to school for computer programming, and still dont have a job doing it, i work at a boring IT Helpdesk right now but im 20 i got time. other than my new bike. i do love my 91 mustnag gt which i need to get back to work on. of coarse i ride my dirtbikes and 4wheelers when im not on my streetbike. I play alot of PS2 online lately. lift weights 5 days a week. Screw around with Gas RC cars and trucks every now and then. and of coarse every guys hobbie drink beer.

Well, I work and go to school right now. But besides riding, I enjoy taking the vette out for drives, although that has decreased significantly since I bought a bike. There is not much to do here in the winter, but school keeps me busy. When I lived in Utah, I loved to go skiing or off-roading whenever possible. I haven't been skiing in 4 years. :cry: That's the worst thing about living here is that there is nothing to do in the winter. Oh well, school has been taking up most of my time, but that will be over in less than a year. Not sure what I'll do in the winter then. :lol:

I workout everyday and spend time with my Girl and the dogs.

I'm just getting back into working out, after about 2 years off. Other than that i'm pretty big into woodworking. I'm trying to push that as part time income. It really helps having a three day weekend everyweekend. I mainly design and build custom furniture, and take pride in my work and stand by it 100%. I don't do kitchen and bathroom cabinets, even though that where the money is around here, i'm not depending on the cheque to put food on the table, so i can build what i like. I'm also getting into metal work now, but only for my benefit, like building tools and such. Playing hockey and baseball, also take up some of my time. As well as fishing, camping and other outdoor stuff.

Mostly work 50+ hours /wk. I have an RV, dirtbike and quad, so we camp and dirt ride a lot on weekends. When we're not camping we spend time with kids and three grandchildren. Or we're cruisin' the beach, wining and dining. :cheers:

Steve started the shop in '95. It occupied a stand-alone two-car garage he rented from a car lot. I started working for Steve in '01 as a mechanic (after quitting my job as a software engineer), and that year we moved the shop to its current location, with about 2500 sq feet of space. Last year in Sept, we launched the e-commerce site and leased the next unit in our commercial building (the old tenent moved out), giving us a total of about 4000 sq feet for both the service shop, a small retail floor, and the web business. The shop itself has grown steadily year to year in terms of business ... but it is a slow process. The website is definately going to increase the retail sales, as the shop has always been focused on service before now, and we're hoping it also serves to bring in more service business as well. Again, it's a slow process ... I hoping we do well, but you never know. As you mention - you have to put away some money and plan if you decide to do your own thing - you're going to have to put money into the business, and live off savings until you get to the point where you're making enough to cover your own bills. We'll see how it plays out ... worst case, we have to go work for someone else again ... but at least we'll never have that "I wish I had tried ... " thing going on. - Roach - SpeedWerks.com

I use to do it for strenth then I got to big for my racing suit and suspension setup. I went from 135 to 175 in year. I have the strech marks to prove it. I was was benching 300. Now I just trying to maintain what I have. I want to be around 165 and tight.

trust me you wont look too big for the bike. im 215 right now, usually i get down to 195 durring the summer, lol at 190 im getting too skinny.

Hmmm... I like to camp, although I haven't had the chance to go since July. Of course everyone knows I love to tailgate and I love sports. In fact, we tailgated our basketball game last night :lol: People were walking by and we'd hear them whisper, "OMG, they're tailgating a basketball game.." Yea, well we're just doing what we love. Tailgating in SC is a sport in itself :lol: Anyway, I love football and basketball. I'll get into baseball but don't usually go to the games. I like going out and hearing local bands. I'm a nerd so I like to read. I mostly read nerdy stuff, like political figures' autobiographies, current events type stuff, history books and so on. Other than that....I dunno :yaewn:

Hey Bulldog, great thread idea. :cheers: Besides bikes, I am also into cars and many other hobbies. Most of all, I like to read. Books, magazines, brochures, palms, you name it, I'll read it. I love the internet, particularly message boards. It's the most efficient way to get information on hobbies from real people, not just advertisements. For example, if you want to learn the real scoop about riding, a few hours on a board like this one is what you need. :twfrox: I like politics and follow news, both locally and on a national level. I browse many blogs and message boards online to try to get as many views on subjects of interest as possible. I even run my own small board (http://s4.invisionfree.com/PlanB/index.php?act=idx) for general chit-chat, with a heavy accent on news, politics, and other topics of serious debate and discussion. In real life, I work and spend time with my wife and family, doing the things that are important to us and working towards improving myself and my life.

Some guitar, cars, shooting pool, hanging out w/ my girlfriend, going to bars. Really, it's mostly going to bars and hanging out w/ the g/f lately. :lol:

I work on my truck (Peterbilt), work on the bikes, ride the 4wheeler, ride jet ski, boat, water-ski, and until my Jeep was stolen Rock Crawling. Now Im just to pizzed to build another Jeep. Cant forget message boards. :wink:

I commercial fish in the summer months which really sucks for riding. I end up riding in the winter months here in Washington. If I'm not riding I'm doing the art thing or reading bike mags or watching the races on tuesdays. I'm usually thinking about bikes and riding most of the time.

Well besides bikes, i build custom cars/trucks, mostly do air suspension, i dirtbike, i target shoot, i ride street on my BMX bike, i mountain bike, play softball, football, snowboard etc....OH and def spend alot of time wit my GF... Myself, usually pretty bussy between work and school, but my other hobby would be training in Muay Thai (AKA Thai Boxing) school I train at (http://www.saekson.com).. I dont train to compete..mainly just for the love of the sport & to stay fit. Quite a few of the people that train there also ride sport bikes. To other recent newbies post up your hobbies...to veterans post up any new hobbies you picked up since you last post to this thread...

well ive been pretty busy in work the last few years, but up untill last year i was coaching girls tournament and city softball teams traveling all over new england and I am also a high school track and field official, played a lot of golf also, now I just sort of hit the drag strip once in a while with the vette and take nice cruises with the wife...more a homebody now cause my wife put up with me being pretty busy for many years and she deserves my time now.... :cheers: ive been playing a lot of first person shooter games the last few years also, Halo, HL2, Doom3, area 51 etc.....was into overclocking computors for a while but that got expensive and now i just over clock the cpu and the video card for gaming only....

I try to keep myself busy...I use to hang out with friends all the time when I lived in KY until I had to go where the job is here in PA..so there's no one for me to hang out with anymore. Besides work..I sit on TWF and watch TV all day, and occationally go out to a bar and drink, watch a band and smoke cigs all day. I do go on a mini vacation almost every other weekend somewhere tho most of the time I either haul the bike in the truck with me...or I ride the bike.

I ride a Fireblade and the Missus rides a Babyblade!! Work as an IT Tester in the Mortgage Industry!! Hate the job, but it pays well!!

Wow, It seems a lot of people here either work in IT or just anything with computers. I myself work the IT department at my job and I dig it. Away from work I usually either go to school or hang out with my friends (girlfiriends brothers) usually at my girlfriends house, watch TV, play video games, fish, shoot guns or pool, fix up cars, bikes, yard work (my fav :disapp: ) or any project that comes along. I also found a new hobby in grilling (as in steaks, chicken, pork, and my new favorite beer brats :drool: ) My garage just got the floor poxied and a new workbench was put in, so now I have my own project to work on for the weekends to come.

Beside taking care of my son & my wife, I do the usually activities related to pistol shooting:bullet casting, reloading & shooting and riding the bike.
