the bike is a fast mother!!!!! i went 85 on a country rode in 4th gear with a LOT of throttle left i was at like 5 grand and it redlines at 11 1/2

as you can see i need more gear but i am bein careful as i can

no it wont blow out, just a little slippery in the wet...85 already, see now arent u glad u didnt get a busa right away...you would have been going 130... :lol:

cool ill change um in a week or soo i guess !?!?!?!? but anyay my bike makes this humming sound every once in a long while (only twice today) when i turn it off

it stops when i open the gas cap , is it pressure or wht??? is it bad or no??

friend of mine Brian Kent at loudon (lrrs) has been class champion on those for the last few years....might have to check it out. very nice looking bikes, look like good handling ones too..

Oh, and jeans won't do squat for you if you go down, regardless of speed. And yes, that tire will need to be replaced. As everyone else has said, take it easy and go slow, you have PLENTY of time to gain experience. DON'T BE A SQUID!!!!!

Yes, but as I mentioned in several posts, every rider should have figured in the cost of proper gear before even buying a bike. You should be able to afford the bike and proper gear before you purchase the bike. ;)

okay guys I HAVE GEAR AND IT WILL WORK IF I GO DOWN EXCEPT FOR THE JEANS AND A LOT OF GUYS WEAR JEANS i got the gear i just have old gear (that works) but just dont LOOK good and that is why i bought the bike b/c if i DO go down i will buy the GOOD LOOKING gear after i get a bit of exoperience under me and i now need tires so i am a bit finacially stressed but i am going to have fun on the bike!!

Have some fun, and carry a big stick. Your gonna need it to keep the ladies off ya.

Hate to sound like a broken record, but I'll say it too. Listen to the advise everyone is giving you here, as we're giving it to you for a very good reason. My advise: don't trust anyone, assume everyone on the road is an idiot and if you think for the slightest moment they can/will do something stupid, they will. Be careful out there, enjoy the new bike, and ride safe!!
