anyone here use trillian?

i just downloaded Trillian since MSN wouldn't work on my computer for some reason. anyway, i can't figure out why, but i can talk to all my AIM contacts, but my MSN contacts always show them being offline. what do i need to change? Late Darksyde

If you're using the standard skin the online/offline indicators will be near the borrom. Make sure you are connected to MSN. You can also open up the connection manager to see if it's giving out any errors. I had problems after an install once, but it was all because I had the wrong password in for MSN. It didn't give me any indication of that though, it just wouldn't stay connected.

I used to use trillian, but it had too many bugs. If it's any better now, let me know! :)

it keeps saying Error Code 12002 when it trys to connect to MSN Late Darksyde

ok, everytime i try to sign in to msn messenger, it refuses to connect and gives me a message that says "we were unable to sign you into .NET Messenger service, possibly because of a problem with the service, your internet connection, or your proxy settings. Please make sure you are connected to the internet. 0x81000301" but i know it's not the service because it's been doing this for months, even though i've redownloaded MSN messenger 4 or 5 times.
