Close Call (i hate cagers)

Not only am i caught in a rain storm today, but my ride home from work is 20 miles. I make it a quarter mile from my apt without incident... but a quarter mile is clearly enough to nearly get killed. Im turning left, waiting for traffic to open. A line of cars is behind me doing the same. Traffic opens and i go, well so does the gucci hoochie behind me and zooms around me mid turn and cuts me off and forces me into the opposite lane into oncoming traffic. I pull it as upright as i can and get on the brakes. (its wet) The back locks and slides but i slow enough to get behind the b!t** and back into MY lane. Hand signals and horn later i decide to just go home. I got the lisence pl number and the make and model. Is there anything i can legaly do? Report to someone? Yea theres this new thing in some states, you can report reckless driving. Go to your local state trooper website, they might have something like that..

I'm with Twisty and DTL... That's why when not in my JR boots...I wear steel toes so I can kick the car!! Have only had to do it once!! But they will leave a REALLY GOOD dent in the side of a car door!!!

i would just kick or key her car next time you see it. i got myself some of those icon timax gloves that look like you could punch anything and i got them the other week and man are they tuff gloves, you could do some real damage with those things.

In Michigan, it's a pain in the ass, but it can be done. If you catch someone violating the law, for instance say.....running a light way after it turned red.... then if you get the license, make, model description, of course the license plate will tell you that, you can then file a formal complaint at your local donut shop and they will investigate it. Here's the tricky part. You MUST be able to identify the driver of the vehicle. I.E. if they put Joe A-Hole in a room with ten other random A-Holes you must be able to pick him out. Otherwise the guy can just say, "hey it wasn't me", "I was working that day", or "I loaned my car out to a buddy", or any old excuse and he is off the hook. If you can positively identify him, you can legally pursue him, but it's not enough just to get his plate. Problem is you will probably end up taking a day off work to identify him, and probably another day to sit in his court case should you be called upon as a witness. Otherwise, most likely, he will walk. Remember "INNOCENT until proven guilty". I don't recommend the "Kick his car" concept eventhough it crosses my mind almost daily. I did forget to ask when trying to arrest the red-light guy in this story what would have happened had I hit him, cause me and my big SUV were gunnin' fo him. So if there is a policeman listenning in, maybe some professional advice on the "kick the car" concept is in order. Additonally I will be by our Local Donut shop in a couple of weeks. I will ask the officer on duty what would happen. Good Luck!

There's an old saying that usually goes along with sports. The ref usually doesn't see the first foul, but he will see the second. I'd say to let it go and move on with your life. Just know that you always have to watch out for the idiots. Now, with that being said, if you actually MEET this woman sometime, there is nothing wrong with letting her know what she did. But leave her vehicle alone.

Guess what i saw this morning parked next to my wifes car... that suv. The same one. Oh LUCKY ME! Ive calmed down some what and hope i see her around, but this morning my wife had to talk me out of collecting four valve cores from a certian sequoia. i cant remember the last time something got me so mad.

dont kick a car and get caught.. keep a pocket full of decent size rocks.. get in front of her and bounce em off the road at 55MPH.. you cant miss a Sequia they are huge.... then u cna say your tire threw it..lol Then when they stop to get mad at you beat em down...lol thats where the Ti gloves come in. But thats prob not a good idea. But they cut u off and i will do it to them and if on the bike i cna go HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLA slow in fornt of em and never let em pass.. make em do 10mph down the freeway for 50 miles... thne yell at em. I had a Ass in a BMW Z3 cut me off in the rain so i got in fornt and made him so pissed he sat there screaming in his car while i laughed at him in my truck.. it was great.. more then payback, i was happy he gave me the chance at that point.

Actually what all the old guys tell me to do is to keep marbles in your pocket. They bounce better off the h/w!!! And a marble at 75mph will F your sh it up!!

I threw skittles out my sunroof hitting a tailgater on the interstate. But marbles from my bike sounds even better! :D

I actually had to replace a upper front faring once due to a rock from a pickup. I was two lanes to the right and saw it coming. Looked more like a bolder but in reality it was probably about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Hard to tell at 80mph. It hit just to the right of the headlight above the ramair. Almost went through but just stuck there. I was so pizzed when I stopped and looked. Just glad it hit the bike instead of me!

Yeah, rocks and marbles could get you in trouble. Besides, there are enough rocks and crap laying on the road, we really don't need to "add" **** to the road that we have to avoid later. How about you run down to you local hobby store and pick up a small aerosal can of bright Green - Pink - Yellow - other obnoxious color. Just a quick squirt later and "boom" They are detailing their car. Or better yet, Paint Balls. Chuck a couple of those at 80 mph and you'll soon be making all sorts of friends! :thumbs:

Hell, kids these days are putting marbles in paint ball guns. I've had to replace a couple windows in the apartments because of it. They just drive by and shoot out windows.

second or third time on the freeway with my bike and im crusing. im in the left lane and i get behind a car that is going slow and there is a line in front of him so it aint his fault. but the cars in the right lane are going about the same speed now. so this biotch decides that she is just gonna try and run me over, i am right beside her all she had to do is look left and she would have seen my GREEN bike. so as she is coming over ime yelling honking and waving my finger at her. lol how cant you see a green bike. also on the rock think, pennies also work real good. lol or any other lose change you got.

On my ride the other day, I pulled out of the complex behind a woman who lives here as well. She's doing 37 in a 40 zone. Okay, I can live with that, even though it's a road that MOST people drive 50-60 on. Oh, and there is a set of RR tracks that cross this road, and she crossed those at the same 37mph speed (will be important in a second). So she gets to an intersection where, like most intersections, you can either turn left, right, or go straight across, although to go straight you SORT OF jog to the left. She puts on her left turn signal. Then she goes straight. Fine, whatever. Then she comes to another set of tracks, quite similar to the ones she went over at 37 just a few minutes earlier. What does she do? She creeps over them at 10 mph. Fine, she wanted to go slow. I wasn't expecting it (which is why I'm right on her ass), but I can live with it. Anybody want to take a guess as to what she does next? Yep, as soon as she crosses the tracks, she STOPS. Right there in the middle of the lane, while I'm still on the RR tracks. WTF?!?! Hello??? Anyone home??? WTF are you thinking??? Oh, did I mention that she was on her cell phone the entire f'n time? :cursin:

Im feeling unlucky. Monday morning i was on a hwy, 2 lanes each way. Not alot of traffic. There was a car a few lengths behind me and one beside me in the next lane. Ahead in the other lane is a Ford F4000 Duper Duty truck. Suddenly large plastic tarps start flying out the back of his truck. I slow and start dodging the tarps that are floating across my lane when one opens WIDE and conquers my lane. I mean this thing was like a sail! Car still beside me, i have to brake hard. Unfortunately i was on the brakes hard going over a rough spot and WOOOOOOOOOOH a nice little tank slapper. I get out of it just in time to duck and dodge the tarp floating there. Heart attack aside, i think i managed ok. Hope the cars liked the show :lol: Made me real tired real quick. :nonod:

the camera is a Cannon,, arparently no toehr brnads will fix xeceopt theres.. so its either go out and buy a 20$ cable to use one time or wait for my cousin whos camera i used to buy it..lol So i may go get it this weekend.. but dont really have time to beofre...but is was a good burn, it tore aobut have the steel belts outts the tire.
