u see the endevor recall.... take it to the dealer to tighten a nut...lol i bet they got sued for new parked cars rolling into others.... plus it says it can only happen when the tranny isnt in park.. guess it would only effect sticks since u cant take the key out of a auto in neutral.... how do u forget to tighten 65K nuts? the "Ebrake nut tightner engineer" at mits fall alseep for a few hours?

Shortly after the e-barke goes in, the dash sits on top of it, nut could be forgotten completely and nobody is the wiser. Or gun falls out of calibration, doesn't meet torque spec. The recall probably only affects a small portion of those cars, but since they have to find a clean point as to when the problem started till when it ended, therfore if there is no tel tale sign exactly when it started, they may have overestiamted to make sure tehy catch all possible vehicles. Ya got to love the auto industry.
