ok what is a good price for a 600rr?

dealer told me that he could go $8500.00 on just the bike nothing included. is this a good price or do you think that I can get one for a beter deal?

it that is 8500 just for the bike ur getting robbed. 8500 otd which is tax, tag, title, set up fee, everythign it cost you when you leave the shop, then its not that bad. make sure you make it a good point that you are buying a bike and you are geting in very soon, i know i walked in and said i want a bike by the end of the week and then we started taling prices, my 04 636 was msrp 8000 as soon as i said i want it and how much is it gonna cost he said 7200 and i said is that the absolute best you can do, i cause i am getting one this week and he went down to 6700. came to 7500otd

well today went to buy the bike (flame/black 600rr) but they didn't have it :cursin: also talked to them about the price told me that the best they could do was $9000.00 out the door was the best they could do :disapp: so I told them that I would get back to them on it. so what do you guys think?

honestly if ur trying to get a bike right now and a brand new one ur basically getting the shaft no matter how you look at it. on my kawiforum the guys wehre paying about 9000 otd for a brand new bike. so fi thats what you want get it.

Shop around and don't be specific about color until you make a deal.

The msrp is 8999 on the RR. yes they want $8499 for just the bike. but the tax isn't included in the price because I'm buying it in a diffrent state so in my state it is 5%.

Well, if it's

+ 5% ($425)
=$8924

They must be chargin like title transfer and plates or somin as well to add up the extra $76...

But as they said, you don't have much choice in the start of the season. Because they know they'll sell the bike regardless. You could always try for a '04 new leftover.. can usually get them for a good deal!

A good rule of thumb is to get the bike OTD, with plates and taxes and any other BS fees for at or below the MSRP. In some states with low slaes tax rates you ought to be able to do a bit better. I suspect you could get one for 8000-8200 OTD if you work on them. Don't cave because of color, Honda will build more.

well told them that I would walk out the door today for the black/silver one if they would go $8500 otd but they looked at me like I was crazy. so I think I will try another dealer.

I ended up payin 8900 out the door after tax and title and crap. Then i put a two bros on it,power commander, heli bars, flush mounts, and undertail kit..Put 2400 miles on her and sold it for 6700 to a buddy of mine. 4 days later a guy offered me 8000 for mine but o well...8500 is a good price they usually dont run deals on any of the 600's except for the zx6r or the gsxr...

The dealer across the border in Georgia wants 8900 for that bike and has a Repsol Repl. he wants 11 for...

i bought mine june 28 for 7999.00 otd for $8478.94
