You guys missed the most important part of that story... the rider wasn't wearing a helmet!!! :nonod: SQUID!!!! But you can get yourself killed in a Yugo on your way back from the Starbucks... :bash:

True, it's not just the size. BUT, if a newbie starts small, he or she is less likely to get killed because they don't have the power to screw around as much as when they start on a big bike. But regardless, a newbie is still a newbie and they WILL make mistakes.

Do the other posters suggest a newb is as likely to crash on a 250 as on a Hayabusa?
