I initially thought it was fake as well, but I have a pair of scissors just like those and that could have actually happened. I paused the video at several different locations and held my scissors up to my arm. It's definitely plausible, even if it is fake. The kid might be in shock, too. I once got my finger caught in a belt sander and I didn't scream or anything. My expression was similar to that kid's. I seriously said to my friend, "Um, I think I lost my finger." It turned out that I only sanded the flesh off, but I was actually rather calm. More in a daze than anything.
