What do you think of the new front page?

We've implemented a front page to the forums. From here you can see some of the more important aspects of the forum at a quick glance. Tell us what you think!

Funny thing is, I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't said something. I always go straight to new post and back to front page after I'm done posting to the new stuff.

like it. wish the online user thing to see who is online would come up on top of, forms, active topics, gallery, user cp, etc. on every page that way i could see who is online but if it slows the forum down dont do it. other than that i like it :dthumb:

Wow FINALLY A FRONT PAGE !!! Woo Hoo !!! I like how it shows ur avatar and the option for new posts right away, with the button there on the front page under ur info/avatar. I always use new posts, religiously. The middle section content, w/ all the old giveways coming up is alittle busy, so that could use some tweaking, IMO. but not sure what to have in there instead. Looks great though!

Well I'll be the first to say that it's ok... I'm definately not anywhere close to being sold on it.... I don't like the newest threads section... I think that is garbage! :puke: I like the avatar section...and the users online thing... but the newest post section just plain is stupid. :sorry: I think that the new post section takes away from the rest of the forum. Doesn't make the other sections of the forum as noticable! Tweaking needed.... but A- for effort... :D :2cents:

It's evolving. We were testing it, but it's difficult to see what it's really going to look like until we populate it with real material. So.. here it is!

It's alright, I prefer all of the forums to be listed right there, though. Either way, it works.

Looks very good. Personally, I could do without the annoying mid-page load advertisements :tt: but, sponsors make this place what it is. Maybe an option to 'hide' them after the initial display would be cool. :2cents: Again, main page looks very good.

Hey like you changed it up a bit.... looks better... shrunk the recent topics... looks loads better that way...

I would add a poll option of "It's not bad, just may take some getting accustomed to it first" ;) I'm starting to get used to it and using the links in it, but still not completely comfortable yet. I'm not the type of person that likes change. :lol:

the giveawas sectio needs to be easier to locate without following it form the front page.

I see the cool links section... I think that SpeedWerks should be in there as well!! :twfrox:

It'll be really awesome if I could personalize what color I want on the front page when I log on, and only have that option for those who are registered. .........not that it looks bad right now, but it's just an idea for maybe next time.
