MALIUBLSV 04-01-2005, 09:09 AM I am looking at getting a new bike. What are the main differences between a 01'- 03 Suzuki sv650s and a 01'-02' Honda cbr f4i? Is the riding geometry the same betwwen the two bikes? Power comparable? Which (if either one) would be better on a 150 mile ride one way. Any info would be great. Thank you.
Brandon
2FURYUS 04-01-2005, 09:21 AM The SV650 will be a lot more comfortable, kinda depends how much experience you have and how aggressive you ride.
The CBR is quicker and will out handle the Suzuki (much as I hate to admit it ), but if you really want a sportbike... buy a GSXR.
bulldog 04-01-2005, 04:50 PM sv650s is the way to go!!!! get the older models though asmuch as I hate to say it the new ones look like bugs!!! i have a 2001 sv650s and i have no problem riding 150 miles non stop!! (you have to refuel at about 125 130 miles though!!
Gas Man 04-01-2005, 09:45 PM Well then I guess you can't go 150 miles non-stop can you!! :D

whats the "guide"?
No Worries 04-02-2005, 09:19 PM whats the "guide"? Motorcycle Consumer News publishes a Used Bike Value Guide every few months. I used the Nov. 04 issue. They compile values from the N.A.D.A. Motorcycle Appraisal Guide, available in larger libraries. But it is only a guide. Very low mileage and certain aftermarket additions will raise the value. High mileage, body damage, abuse or lack of maintenance will lower it. Try www.nadaguides.com.
jeeps84 04-02-2005, 10:14 PM SV is more comfy but the F3 is better suited to go fast out of the box.
Not a bad price but I would do as suggested earlier. :2cents:
