That looks like one of those helmets where the whol face flips up.......those things are junk. I don't want my the front chin part on my helmet being on a set of hinges!!!

Lucky...stay far far away from a helmet made by HD! :sorry: Anyway, your helmet options are the same as the rest of us! Why do you think that you have to be different? WHY!! Seriously, just get any helmet that fits your liking.... alot of people here like their Scorpion's!

they dont actually make other manufatures make them and hd or buell puts their name on. like shoei made the one. i checked into this when i bought my bike and i didnt see any "firebolt helmets" like this says on it. I have seen others i was interested in i just want to see as many options as possible.

That was the 04 Firebolt Helmet, you might be lucky and still find one hidden away at some dealers :luck: , however they discontinued. The Buell helmets are either manufactured by AGV or KBC under licence from Buell. You best bet is to ask at www.badweatherbikers.com, somebody might be able to point you in the right direction

I actually kind of like them for the street, and a number of very respected helmet manufacturers make them (Shoei, Nolan, and AGV for example). I used to have a Nolan N100 flip-up for street riding (technically, I still do, but it's long past the 5-year lifespan and just hangs in the garage). It was very convenient for stopping at gas stations, talking to people on rides, etc. - Roach
