What's safer if you go down and why? Seems the straight pegs would offer some protection to you and your bike but all the manufacturers use the spring loaded folding pegs.
Folding pegs or straight pegs?ShanMan14 08-19-2004, 11:43 AM What's safer if you go down and why? Need4Speed 08-19-2004, 12:15 PM safety wise, the straight ones will offer alittle more protection, not much, but some, but also have more of a chance of snapping off..as opposed to the spring loaded ones, which will just fold up. GSXR1000DJ 08-19-2004, 01:42 PM Not to sure but I would think the folding would be safer in the aspect that the straight would or may cause it to grip ahold of the road and poss flip where the folding ...well, they will fold up and out of the way to let the bike just slid. Just a thought. | |
