Guys,
I just had a question for my old man. He's got a 999s and was looking to buy an MV Augusta F4 1000s, but when we went and looked at the only one around, he was uncomfortable with how high his legs were off the ground. There was no way for him to get both feet down at the same time. Seemed like it had a really steep nose angle.
Anyways, he's about 5'9, but has stubby legs. Is it possible to lower the bike over an inch without turning it into a bear to handle? He's 55 so it ain't like he's in peak physical condition, and he's kinda freaked about a bike with 165 at the wheel being a bear to get around the corners.

Shaving the seat will keep you from altering the characteristics of the bike. MMMMMmmmmmv agusta.

That MV has 165hp to the wheel?

Actually....... to the wheel is 152.8hp @ 11,500 with 73.8ft/lbs of torque @ 8250 rpm if my memory serves me correctally.
It's all about rear wheel torque
