Fuel and reserve

How long is your reserve? Have you ever been daring enough to find out? I went almost 30 miles on my reserve (when the light started blinking). :eek:

I found out the hard way that on my old RF900RR. I got almost 21 miles when I coasted into the gas station to fill up. And on my 600F3 I did it 3 times in the same spot on the highway. Coasted up the ramp after it shut off on me and into the gas station after about 27 miles on reserve. :D

Reserve light on both my BMW's give me 1 Gal on fuel :) Have verified this :thumbs:

most I've chanced it, is 15 miles on reserve..and I was keeping my fingers crossed the whole time till I came upon a decent gas station :) ...I'll run out, and call someone to bring me gas, before I stop at some nothing, grocery store gas place with colored water coming out of the pump :shock: .
