No crap... One of my best buds in high school's mom had an African Grey... Pretty... Smart... and F*CKING INSANE! So the phone rings... "hello, hello, helllllloooooooo?" Mid-hello, the phone is still ringing... or is it? Nope it's the damn bird! Put the cover over his cage, "Lights out Simon, Lights out Simon, Lights out Simon..." All in all, it was pretty cool the first couple times I saw it, but after a while... I grew to despise Simon... Fluttering around the house, pooping on stuff... ringing like the phone, randomly saying crap... and I could never teach him any profanities... I hate birds... That would be interesting... but I know many people that have those and love em! But like anything else there is always going to be the bad apple.

That bread or should I say both those breads are known to be smart quick learners. Persistence is the key with any animal training. Dont scold him for being bad unless you catch him doing wrong (not 10 or 20 minutes later) and always reward him for being good.

When you're in photobucket, click the "edit" button under the picture you want to resize, it will take you to another screen where you can say, 50% of current size, or if it's too small 120% etc.

Or you can edit them in paint. Click edit and then stretch skew.

Yeah, but he's already got them loaded in photobucket... if he used paint, he'd have to delete and reload the pics.

Well it's not really a pet, but today I rescued a small song bird that was about to die on the sidewalk. I took him inside and warmed him up, gave him some water, and let him rest in a makeshift nest of Kleenex in a box. After about 2 hours he was looking much better so I let him go back outside and he flew away to live happily ever after. Also there was a hungry stray cat at my house when I got back here so I fed it some old lunch meat and gave it some water. Damn, I'm just turning into a softie today....

I took him inside and warmed him up, gave him some water, and let him rest in a makeshift nest of Kleenex in a box. After about 2 hours he was looking much better so I let him go back outside and he flew away to live happily ever after. Also there was a hungry stray cat at my house when I got back here so I fed it some old lunch meat and gave it some water. Damn, I'm just turning into a softie today.... You sure you werent just saving him so that when the Dove hunting iniative passes next week, you will be able to hunt him down legally? :lol: :lol:

WONDERFUL animals... very, very sweet and loyal. And (as my Mom will tell ya) very good baby-sitters... Ours watched me like a hawk when I was a toddler... :lol:

I've heard good things about collies, but I've always had a thing against them... the only dog that's EVER bitten me was a collie puppy... I was about 7 or 8, and it grabbed onto my wrist and didn't let go for ANYTHING... Even though I know now it was probably just playing, I won't ever have one because of that. :lol:

Goldies and Labs (all colors) stay puppies longer than a lot of other breeds -- you can expect puppy behaviors for at least 2-3 years.

my youngest dog is a Irish Setter and German shepard mix, she is unbeliavbly calm, but will still run and play with my hyper ass rotweiler/lab cross.... The first one is Aspen, thats about as hyper as she is, she really thinks she is a 50lb lap dog and her purpose on earth is to have her belly rubbed by everyone under the sun. The seocnd is my rotweiler/lab James, hes a hyper ass and totally night blind, but the best cuddle dog in the world at bed time...he is shaking here.. he loves to do that... whether u ask him to or not constantly Edit: Why when u click on James' picture he looks like hes covered in plaster dust i dont know..lol if u zoom in more u can see how clean and hsiny his coat is, but makes the pic way too big

Good looking Dog. I had one that I thought was scared of the dark till the vet told us that he couldn't see. (I guess he was scared) It was very funny at times. Turn off the lights in the house on a dark night. He would make a sound like Scooby Doo. Then before you knew it. He would be glued to you side. You couldn't move with out him being right by your side.

I havent yet heard of that, but that is an exmple of BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) :( that i swhat is going on here in KC, we seem to have a Pit Bull attack every other month. and everytime you here, "they were the most gentle dogs until they just snap." huh...strange Just a couple nights ago one attacked a copwhile he was trying to make an arrest and the cop shot it after being bit.

We show our dog much love and don't tolerate agressive behavior. I don't think that it is the breed its self but the type of people that the pit bull attracts as owners I have known plenty of completly mellow pit bulls that lived to an old age with out ever attacking a human being.

OSP- my sisters kitten looks like yours....Pretty cat. When it comes to snakes i never would want one for a pet... all work not much reward.
