Ever caught your laces on the pegs and...

... fallen? Not me, but I've been close when first started riding. laces = bad

I tuck in my shoe or boot laces when ever riding. Safe move. :)

I hate it when that happens....damn long shoe laces, they seem to get caugh on the gear shift the most

I tuck them in. . I cuff my jeans sometimes and learned not to do that as well. :lol:

never caught my laces, but on the days when I ride to work I used to often catch the upturned cuffs of my dress slacks. I either tuck them in now, or make a more out and up movement of my legs when starting up.

Wish work would allow us to wear gear, in the office..wouldnt have this problem then!! :D

gives you another reason to thank who ever invented/thought of the "slip on" shoes(I got one made by And 1). too bad nobody makes one for motorcycles!

Nope never had that happen. But on an older bike I forgot to put the kickstand down when getting gas and the bike fell on me and pinned me against the pump. DOH...squid.

Ouch, that had to suck! thats the nice thing about the newer Kats...safety shut off feature if you try to put her in gear w/ the stand still down.

My old 94 RF900RR did the same thing as well as my GSXR. Nice that it does that so you don't try to ride off with it down. Very nice safety feature. :D

Clip in pedals on a mountain bike....forgot to unclip, couldn't get feet off pedals....tipped over in front of a crowd, felt dumb. At least it wasn't my Gixxer.

Good thing it wasn't the Gixxer. Not as easy to pick up as the mountian bike. :D

I went to Walmart and bought some lace covers from the baby department. We bought them for our daughter because she wouldn't keep her shoes on/tied. They cover the laces and I haven't caught the pegs or untied a shoe in a long time.

Hmm, that's why riding boots don't have laces. I never ride without riding boots. Period... I've seen WAY too many pics of people ankles after crashing in sneakers. Umm, no thanks... Full gear every time I throw a leg over the bike. Period. No exceptions...

No not at all. Just scared the hell out of me. Trying to turn left during rush hour and my pant leg is stuck on the peg so I can't hit the brake, etc. Its a tad bit distracting!

I caught my right boot on the filler peg once. :yikes: Pulling out from a stoplight, making a right turn. Damn near ran over my foot, then the curb, then the cager in front of me. :troll: Real cool looking, according to my friends.
