CHICAGO - Police are searching for a group of young vandals who played bumper cars with a bunch of school buses, NBC5 reported. Chicago police said 10 to 15 teenagers broke into a bus-storage facility on the South Side and took several buses on a joyride. The incident happened on the 1000 block of West 111th Street at about 9:20 p.m. Saturday, police News Affairs Officer David Banks said. When it was over, there was almost $100,000 in damage. One bus was crashed into a nearby storage facility, causing serious structural damage to the building. Police said the juveniles had easy access to the vehicles because the keys were apparently left in the ignitions.

Alot of construction sites often leave keys in the bulldozers and stuff as well. Back in High School a buddy found keys in a bull dozer and decided to take it for a short drive. He had worked in construction with his father before so knew how to drive the thing. All he did was move it about 10 lots over to a house which was just completed. He parked it in the freshly paved driveway! :yikes:

most construction equipment keys are the same....that's no discovery. I think the story is funny. A buddy of mine did something similar with a bunch of those bucket lifts.... drove them all over a construciton site till they tipped one over...
