Buying from Ebay is not always bad. I got my last bike from Ebay. You have to do your homework first before you buy as to not get scammed from there. Never send money Western Union. If they want you to send money, get a Postal Check. So then when they don't give you your product and they have your postal money order, it just now became a federal crime because of the post office money orders. :dthumb:
Look at it first before you buy. If you get to see the bike and all checks out, then go for it. Can't hurt from buying from Ebay and saving some money.

I would, but i'd only buy if it was close enough to where I could drive out and see the bike in person and pay cash for it when I got there.

dont you have a 2005 R6? How is that less fortunate? j/k
I think the bike he is interested in is in CO. Its out of state and thats the only thing that makes me skeptical :skep: about the whole deal. Hopefully he gets the facts with the seller before we end up making a trip up to Colorado, since its an 8 hour drive for us. :yikes: Man I hope he just ships it :yesnod:

Buying a bike on E-bay is really no different than any where else, If you don't pay attention, you will get scammed...I know a Young man in Daytona (22 years old) who just had to buy this "great Deal" he found on E-bay...He wouldn't listen to his Father or me when we tried to help him...He is now 3300 poorer...

Sure there are scammers on eBay, just like everywhere else in theworld. Just have to be careful and know what your buying.
