I can't find anything else out about this, and the Benelli site is up and working. http://www.benelli.com/page.do By Dirck Edge England's Motorcycle News is reporting that small Italian manufacturer Benelli (makers of the TNT, for instance) have stopped production and terminated employees as a result of the decision by the Merloni family (controllers of Benelli) to find a buyer for the marque. Benelli had been resurected by Andrea Merloni in the late 1990s shortly before the stunning three-cylinder Benelli Tornado was displayed to appreciative motorcycle lovers.
