Now that the drama is over...

I would like to apologize to the forum for all of this drama. I probably could have just ignored Miranda from the very beginning and none of this would have happened. Of course, there is always the possibility she would have posted the same kind of crap story when she was ready to leave the forum, as she did a few days ago. I hope you all will accept my apology if it is necessary. Hopefully, this crap won't happen again. Now that its over, can we get back to bikes?

You did the right thing Capt. For everyone that didn't know she was a scammist liar...well they know now. I remember your warning about her a few months ago...so I knew she was a liar...it's all good capt.

No apologies Capt. Everything's all good. You did a good thing by calling her out. A couple of things came out of all that :wbs: . One, Miranda has shown her true colors and two, it confirmed that this group of people have a lot of heart. :twfrox:

No need to be sorry to me, I almost sent a donation. In fact I am greatful that you spoke up. You put a lot more on the line doing that IMO. I thank you. I think this site is finally getting to be used by bikers for the most part. Not every topic is bikes but all threads are being used by bikers. A few months ago it was a free for all web activity Chat room. It has become much more entertaining of lately. still could use more activity but It is comming to life more and more. Anyhow thanks again.

Dont worry man! I was sooo skeptical of her anyway :skep: . The story seemed like total :wbs: . And I have had crazy pathological lying releationships with women like her before, I just had that gut feeling it was all crap. All you did was warn the people of her "scam". Everyone should be thanking you for having the cojones to call her out! But, if I was in your shoes, I would aplogize to, its just in my nature. But you are okay by me man! :dthumb: IF it means anything to you, I dont think anything less of you. As a matter of fact, I respect you more than I did :yesnod:

Well, the drama may be over, but suddenly I have been receiving hang-up phone calls on the apartment phone number. And, not surprisingly, they're from an "anonymous" caller. I think someone needs to grow up. :disapp:

I guess I should have specified that as being the apartment office phone number. It's usually forwarded to my cell phone. I don't have a home phone number, just the cell. Luckily, I changed my cell phone number awhile back so she can't reach me on it anymore. However, I can't exactly change the apartment office number since it's been in existence for probably 25 years and WAY too many people have it memorized.

You can call the phone company and have her numbers blocked...but then again she could just call from a different number each time.

You can call the phone company and have her numbers blocked...but then again she could just call from a different number each time. Well, the calls are showing up anonymous, so I don't have any numbers that I can block. I have no clue what her phone numbers are, nor do I care. I'm going to see about getting anonymous calls blocked, which I know is possible with the apartment office phone, but I'm not sure if it's possible with my cell phone. I'm not sure how that would work if the office phone is forwarded to my cell phone.

If they dont leave a message, it's probably not that important, or its the "hang-up bandit" I know its a business number, so it might be difficult to do so. But maybe they will stop after a week or so of screening.

If an unknown number calls. They get a message to identify themselves before you will except the call.
