I took the time to look through the article. :readng: I just wonder why they didn't bring in some modified Busas to compete with all the modified cars. Hennessey Venom 1000 Twin Turbo Viper Speed at 1 mile: 210.2 mph — 1st Time to 1 mile: 25.6 sec — 2nd Lola-Ford Cosworth Champ Car Speed at 1 mile: 203.3 mph — 3rd Time to 1 mile: 24.2 sec — 1st MV Agusta F4-1000 MT Tamburini Speed at 1 mile: 174.7 mph — 9th Time to 1 mile: 26.8 sec — 4th

I wish the videos had more exhaust sound and car video. Sure, the commentary was okay, but I'm more intersted in watching and hearing the cars, not seeing some guy talk about the car.

R&T always takes a bias opinion to many vehicles. But seriously how can you put and compare a 505HP vette Z06 to a 700+ HP Saleen S& Twin Turbo? Comparing apples to oranges. Do a friendly comparison of vehicle price to performance and Z06 wins hands down I am sure. Be exciting to see an article written about the new Corvette Blue Devil which will put out 600+ HP. Motor Trend and Auto Week have already let the secret out, but final numbers have yet to come in. Internal documents have the Vette Blue Devil priced at $100,000.

They just used the 400 HP standard corvette. It would have been nice to see how the new Z06 faired in that contest, although it probably would have just been slightly higher than the standard Viper.

I nautrally assumed in this report they were using the performance models of each vehicle. BUt for whatever bias reason, they just used a stock C6 Vette. LMAO Funny, cause they used a Vortech (Supercharged) Mustang. Watch the video, they say it pretty much a stock vehicle with exception to a Vortech Supercharger. @ 575 HP DUH!!!! Sure its going to beat a 400HP Vette etc. I mean they might as well have thrown in the '06 Chevy Colbolt w/ Super charger which will produce near 246 HP. Let do a comparison between that and these other vehicles. Probably one of the dumbest over all reviews any magazine could do. :bash:

:iagree: all the vehicles had so little in common. It would have been nice to have seen more stock sports cars, just to see how they all compare to each other. I have no complaints about seeing the big boys run their modified cars, but for R&T to do a "comparison" with the vehicles they chose was rather stupid.

Hey guys it was just entertainment... SHEESH! Easy Mr. Sensitive. We are just pointing out that R&T is not even comparing Apples and oranges. Some cases they are comparing apples and potatoes! Completely pointless testing and comparison of vehicles not even in the same class. The guys at GM find it humorous that they put a stock Vette, yet a Vortech Supercharges Stang. Like Cycle world doing a comparison of the Ninja 250 to the GSXR 1000 :bash:

I'm not really concerned... I see magazines all the time put rediculous vechicles against each other. They do it with bikes all the time... but sometimes they are interesting to read...
