:scratch: more info pleas! Comcast cable uses on demand feature, which lets you play movies, programs anytime of day or night :cheers: SV its free on my system also :dthumb: Including HBO,Showtime and rest of movie channels if you subscribe to them.

Cable wanted over $1000 to feed my house. I said no thanks. Things sure have improved from the K band days.

I've had little to complain about since Dish Network got so big. No reason to change even if cable company said they would supply for free.

I've used it and it's nice. They have tons of stuff on it. Everything from movies, pay per view, to music videos...tons of stuff.

Living out in the woods, I had to get satellite...it is cheaper than Cable for TV. I haven't convinced myself that $100.00/month for internet is a good deal considering I have DSL at the office.

I did enjoy Comcast demand feature when I had them a few years back. However, their pricing and customer service is the worst and I wouldn't subscribe to them if it was free. I am more than happy with Dish Network. I do have Comcast for my internet service as they have become the SBC for monopolizing an industry (broadband internet) here in MI.

I guess I'll be one of the few that likes my cable. 6.0 cable internet, High Def, dual DVR, on Demand.... the only problem I have is that every year they raise my rates adn I have to call in complaign and to get myself back on the "good deal" package... other than that, it's all good!

I use to use the I will switch to Direct story to get the deals. It doesn't work any more. :cursin:
