Yes any Jap brand!! I prefer Yamaha but I will take a good deal.

I am. All bikes basically perform the same but Yammies look the best.

I've had Honda and Yamaha 4 wheelers, a CBR, and now my busa. I'm not really brand loyal, but I grew up a Honda fan in superx when Rick Johnson and those guys were still riding.

I've always been big on Suzuki, until last year when I saw Yammi get their stuff together...so now I am going from a zuk to a yam. I will always do my homework and research before I buy!

Current Honda CBR1000RR previous Kawi 03 Z1000 Yam 02 R6 Hon CBR600-F2 10 bikes total and NOT one suzuki ever........... I like the GSXR750 but i dont think i would ever buy one..........just never real keen on their color schemes

sure the color can be changed, so can the wheels,suspension, engine......... but at what cost ? to strip all factory decals and get a quality paint job is not cheap and most people dont buy a new bike with the intention of immediately spending thousands on a complete paint job...........

2/3of my bikes have been Jap, how good are they???. I ve been riding over 20 years and i ve moved on to Italian. Aprilia Tuono, god does it rock. Has that sexappeal that Jap bikes don't have for me...... and the V twin sound MMmmmmmmm :sorry:

No. Speaking for the big 4 japanese, They are all so close performance and reliability wise that there really is no way you can go wrong these days... There is no ONE dominant force, things change every single year.

i've come to prefer kawasaki. i've owned 3 so far. had a bad experience in my youth with a honda 50, darn thing never wanted to kick over. vowed to never own a honda of any sorts again. since then had a kawasaki kdx80 dirt bike, brief stint with the yamaha ysr50 before my 3 ninjas. i am pretty die-hard kawasaki, but the new r6 is almost pretty enough to change my mind. maybe next time...

I voted yes but, I have had many bikes over the years and always end up happiest with Gixxers. I finally quit buying the hottest bike out and will just stick with Suzuki for my Sport Bike needs.

I had 19,368 on the clock when the engine went out on me. I know the V-twin isn't made for all that abuse, and the 4 cylinders can handle more abuse...I donno...time for a switch up. If I do find a deal on a 04/05 gixxer I know I'd jump on that just as much as a Yami.

I've got no particular brand loyalty, I've owned at least a couple of each of the big 4 Japanese brands at one time or another, as well as two Cagiva's Having said that, I'm currently on my 3rd GSXR in a row ('88 1100, '92 750, '92 1100, '01 1000). I didn't go out with the intention of buying another Gixxer, they were just the best value at the right price at the right time :cheers:

The SV was a good place to start and the CBR is the performance I wanted, both sat the best in the range I was looking at for me. I do have a brand hatred though, I don't like Kawi for some strange reason I can't figure out.:idk:

Yamaha just does it for me. Everything they make seems to catch my eye- from jet ski's to street bikes. It just seems they strive to be top notch. From looks to performance. I've had Kawi, street & dirtbikes (gotta admit I'll always love kawi GREEN) but after having such good experiences with Yamaha quads- I became interested in their street bikes. Started researching them and fell in love... If you're into quads Yamaha has always had more makes and always seems to be first in the market. Starting w/ the Banshee- which no other manufacture had an answer for/ Raptor- bad a$$ trail quad- again no answer from the other manufacture's-Almost forgot the 200cc class-Blaster- again no answer... then the 450's- again first and only 450 out untill Honda finally answered a year and a half later- and to this day the YFZ450 seems to hold the title of top dog on the MX track. Brand loyal though- NO. If Yamaha drops the ball- I wouldn't skip a beat switching over to Suzuki.

Yamaha for LIFE from quads, dirtbikes, to SS bikes you can never go wrong. Ive been in love ever since my blaster my first yami

I like the Zukes. They've been good to me. Started on Honda 3 wheelers, nothing could beat them. As they turned into quads, honda fell behind. Living on the farm required a 4X4 wheeler, and the Yam's kinda fell short on this one. Kawi was #2. Now, like many have said, everything has become very equal. Still not much of a yami fan, but that has a lot to do with the local dealership, and I love the zukes for the same reason, and my SV has never done me wrong.

My last three cars, my generator, and my new lawn mower are all honda as well as my f2.......and yes all are black........ nothin beats a honda in my mind..... I don't knock other brands yam, kaw, and zuk are all solid machines.... If I got a good enough of a deal on any of them I would jump on it.......

I'm not loyal to any specific brand. each of the big four has something that I like, Yamaha the new R6, Suzuki, the GSXR750, Kawi, the 636, ZX6R, and 500R, Honda, the F4i, 600RR, 1000RR, interceptor. I'm biased toward honda because of the track record of the CBR600, but I'll ride anything if it looks good and I get a good deal.

The Kawasaki dealer kind of near us has always been pleasent to work with. Starting with my stepdad's 96 Vulcan, then his 2003 Z1000, then my 2005 Z750S, and just earlier this year a 650cc quad. I know my stepdad purchased several other bikes from them too, but those are the ones I definitely know of. I actually did consider a Triumph (Speed Triple cause I liked how it sat better than the Speed Four) but the price was too high. Not to mention it being more bike than what I really needed. The Triumph dealer now carries Ducatis too :). We'll see what happens next time, but my bet woudl be another Kawasaki (unless a better deal/dealer comes along).

Sure am :). They are a great bunch of people there who don't look down on me just because I'm female. One of their sales guys was selling his black triple and I was oh so tempted. Timing and finances just didn't work out. They always look for my mom, stepdad, and I a few months before Christmas. We make other purchases too, but that is a guaranteed shopping frenzy!

I'm pretty loyal to Suzuki. Main reason is that I grew up riding their dirt bikes, and have never had any real problems with them.

I'm a die hard Honda fan, current Honda 954, But lately i've been eyeing the Yamaha r1, Nice. But the 954 stays.

when it comes to cars if its not a gm product i dont buy it i have had all types and makes of cars so its not like i havent tryed other stuff i had toyota, dodge, hondas and more. when it comes to bikes i dont care i really wanted a harley i still want a night rod but harelys cost to much i just cant spend 14-18g on a motorcycle, i love the inovation of buel but hate the styling if they ever came out with a nice looking bike ill buy one, like suzuki but never had a rode bike from them. had yamaha dirt bikes they were all crap. itialin motorcycles are nice machines but again to expensive for a bike in my opionion.

I am brand loyal when it comes to autos either honda or toyota for me every time I have ever deviated from this it has been a nightmare. Bikes not so much I ride a kawi but my next bike is either going to be suzuki or honda since they both have made some twins that I can pick up cheap and used with good reliability. I love Italian bikes but I can't afford them I like buells to so that is possible for a next bike. I love all bikes though....:dthumb:

I would say yes unless it was an outrageous deal. I had a katana, f4i, gsxr, and now a zx6r. So far the zx6r has been the best. The gsxr was the easiest for engine upgrades but I love my Kawasaki and would definatly buy another one.

That's what I've had, and I've put a crapload of miles on both (94k on the F4i, 379k on the Accord), and they've never let me down so I figure might as well stick with what I know works, right? Bikes I do like all of the big 4 though, especially the Yammis, my 2nd fav :wink: Cars I'll stick to Honda/Acura, or maybe even Toyota. Been down the domestic route before, never again (and I work for Ford, btw)

nope-gsxr's have fit me the best(riding position), but the kawi i have now is gonna have "busa beater" on it pretty soon...and when i get my busa im puttin "kawi killa" on it lol- im ME loyal

I am for the most part a Zuk rider, but I started out on Kawi so I have some luv for them as well. I have ridden 3/4 of the japs, no Honda yet, and Zuk as the best feel for me. Keep the shiny side up!!!

My first bike, SV650 was a GREAT bike. Super reliable, sweet handling and fun. First Suzuki was great so I tried another, a GSXR this time. So far I'm very happy. Eventually I'd definately like to try some other brands and styles. Aprilia's are looking sweeter and sweeter everyday. :wink: I'd really like to try a rat rod sometime. I have a soft spot for Kawis (and probably always will) as the first bike I ever rode passenger on was a Kawi ('02 ZX9R), the first bike I ever fell in love with was a Kawi ('03 ZX6R), and my first (and still current bike) bike is a Kawi as well. But I do recognize that just about all of the major manufacturer's have at least ONE super stellar bike, or something I've at least contemplated owning. My next bike has about a 50% chance of being a Yammy. :dthumb:

Had a '80 Suzuki GS550 '77 Yamaha 400 RD (loved that two stroke w/ kick start) Now own '07 Gixxer 750. Looking at a Yami R1 next , and then maybe i'll feel old enough to ride a HD dyna wide. :wink:
