I had a round of this last year...I am going to post up a great sample letter that I wrote all 3 credit bureau's over a case that I had. This actually worked and was cleared off my credit history. Also another thing...if you have paid something off..make sure you tell that agency, store, credit card or what ever...to call all 3 bureau's to let them know it is paid and clear. Still write the letters tho. Attachment:

SV This shiot happens all the time. yeah I know...but I figured I'd at least put up a good sample letter for people to look at and know how to write the letter. :2cents:

All the links were from the big 3 credit agencies... nothing I searched for on the net.

I'm surprised it worked. From what I hear, it's almost impossible to clear up a mistake like that, and have your credit restored completely. putting things in writing is the only way to get things fixed. Talking on the phone doesn't do a d@mn thing...anyone can deny a phone conversation, however when a document is put in writing and several copies are placed they can't deny that, especially when you send certified mail. :2cents: I also know this worked because when I had a full credit report ran when I got my apartment back in April, this hospital bill wasn't on there anymore.
