Well with the annoucement of McD's putting the nutritional value on their packaging... I thought we could discuss it. Do you REALLY want to see those values when you're eating your favorite fast food? You already know its bad! Isn't ignorance, at some level at least, bliss? Do you think this is a good idea? Do you think the other companies will follow McD's suit? Here's some links to the top sellers. McD's (http://www.mcdonalds.com/app_controller.nutrition.index1.html#0) BK (http://www.bk.com/Food/Nutrition/NutritionWizard/index.aspx) Wendy's (http://www.wendys.com/food/US_nutrition_topics.jsp) Taco Bell (http://www.yum.com/nutrition/menu.asp?brandID_Abbr=5_TB) Sonic (PDF only) (http://www.sonicdrivein.com/pdfs/menu/SonicNutritionGuide.pdf) Arby's (http://www.arbys.com/nutrition/)

The nutritional values were already readily available at every restaurant. Personally, I will continue to ignore them. I eat fast food because it tastes good and is cheap, not because it’s good for me.

Not sure Pickle... but it is a interesting debate. Do we really want to know? Then if you do, will it shy you away?

You are doing better than most.. some people here in the US view these food chains as a good source to feed their families and do it everyday.... :nonod:

I try to stay away, about the only ones I go to now are the sit down ones. Like Olive Garden and Cracker Barrel.

It really doesn't matter to me if fast food joints post nutritional facts or not. I already know it's not good for you. I just make an effort to limit the amount fast food I eat. Personally, I won't even eat McDonalds or Burger King anymore thanks to the special that guy did on eating McDonalds for 30 days. If it is fast food I seek, I tend to get items that are not deep fried. edited for spelling
