I like Dainese for leathers, they seem exotic to me. You don't see nearly as much Dainese as you do Joe Rocket or Alpinestar. I also like it for that reason. Helmets... I'm partial to Shoei.

I like the Joe Rocket stuff. Motophoria makes good stuff too - but they are limited on selection because they are new.

For MX I' have been partial to Fox for jerseys and pants, for protective stuff I usually try to find stuff that is comfortable. Arai helmut. For street I have a teknic full leather, joe rocket gloves, Alpinestar boots(both MX and street) and had an Arai helmut that sacrificed admirably at the track, best $500 I've ever spent. :shutme

I've got Fieldsheer summer gear (pants and jacket) and a Shoei RF1K. My SO wears an Arai. For leathers, I like Vanson or Dianese.

Joe Rocket, but I've been thinking about picking up a Aerostitch Roadcrafter. http://www.aerostich.com/isroot/riderwearhouse/Images/120-125a.jpg

They're custom made for you instead of off the rack. I get their catalogs from time to time, but I've never bought anything from them. The sport-touring crowd swears by Aerostich.

My regular jacket is Joe Rocket, my leathers are Alpinestars, and my boots are Sidi. Helmet is an Arai Signet b/c that's the only one that fits basically, but I like it.

Vanson gear is by far best made product, everything is made for the biker. Joe Rocket does offer some cheap well made products. I ride with full Vanson leathers, including gloves with Sidi boots ;)

Joe Rocket is all good with me too...My other half picked me up a vega helmet for christmas last year...all in all, a very sweet lid, for a fraction of the cost of a shoei..lightweight, comfortable, and my head stays pretty cool with all the vents.

Damn!! if you ever wanna unload any of that, give me a hollar  I am probably going to part ways with my Intersport/Honda leathers. I just don't see myself wearing them on my CL350's.... They're the only Honda's I have left! It's an extremely nice set of leathers. Problem is that none of my Honda riding friends can fit them!

I mainly have Joe Rocket because of price, but I'm also new to the sport. If I begin to ride more, I will buy better gear. I don't have any leathers, just textile/mesh.

Problem is that none of my Honda riding friends can fit them! It's just because you're as skinny as a tooth pick!

It's just because you're as skinny as a tooth pick! That would be one of the aforementioned Honda riding friends. :) At 6'0, I'm the shortl guy in our group. To answer your question, the jacket is a 44, and the pants are a 32 waist.
