That's what the big deal was in the first place. That it would rip it up on the straights but it won't even do that anymore with all these new updates in the 1000cc division. The new GSXR and the 10R will eat the busa and be lookin for more.

I like the 1000's too, but I've always liked the look of the busa. the new 2005 gixxers are ugly now. they should have left them alone too.

What I think is nasty about the 1k's is the freakin' muffler. I guess I equate fat muffler with fat a$$. Yech! I much prefer the undertail muffler style :2cents:

aftermarket exhaust is where it's at anyways...if im gonna dump a boat load of cash on this bike, i'll have them yank that muffler off before i even take delivery.

busas aren't too bad in the turns once youre used to them. nowhere near an R1 or the like. There are some mods that you can do that make them hang with the big dogs in the twisties though. such as installing a swingarm from the first generation of gsxr 1000's to shorten the wheelbase, switch to magnesium rims and lighter rotors along with sprockets to shed rotating weight and you can really flick it around in the turns :helmet:

Just no't what I expected!!!(GSXR 1000) I have heard that from a few ppl and I think the same thing. I was talking to my local dealer and they are telling to wait till it gets in the shop and then look at it. May feel different about it then. :)
