That ought to make the little brute rip even more.
Time to start on the suspension.
mountainmotor 11-22-2005, 09:49 AM If Z1000 owner had money to burn he could slip a Rotrex unit on it .

Some of these mods can make for a fast bike but it depends on how rideable he wants to keep it.

Very true...and as you said... when you upgrade the motor for more power you need to upgrade the suspension and the brakes to handle that power!
No Worries 11-27-2005, 12:05 PM The only thing the Z needs is a steering dampner and better seat. And you already got the dampner.
Gas Man 11-27-2005, 12:19 PM ScottMan... I can't believe it went this long without..

Scott ,
Got your PM . :dthumb:
With those mods you will see NO decrease in ridability or reliability . Also , no real need for suspension or brake upgrades to handle the increased HP . Do the suspension for other right reasons , not simply because of putting " some " extra POP into the engine . The Z likes the fork sag adjusted and good fork oil or aftermarket springs along with EBC pads anyway .
If I can help more , go over to the Riderforums.com where there is specific discussion on the Z1000 .
