Is your bike winterized?

Winter's official start is December 21st, but it's already snowing in some parts of the country!

Yeah it is...so I go to the dealer and sit on theirs...get some posters or whatever... then go back home feeling a little better but still sad!!!

I was layered with an extra sweater with a winter liner at 12am this morning, and it was cold, but rideable.

Yeah, mine is all tucked away under the cover in the shed... I'd bounce the shed threads from last year if I could find em :)

Yep, I got the stabilizer in the fuel and it is up on my new stands my wife bought me for my B-Day....

I'm going riding tomorrow...

yep had my girlfriend add the stabilizer yesterday. wish i was in calie. its in the low teens here in ks. and gettin down to -10 tonight. but the busa is up and covered and in the shed.

I don't winterize nothing. My crazy husband rides year around. I quit after it gets below 50.

it's really not worth it here to winterize. Not only does winter not last long, but you'll get those crazy days of 50*+ and you know you'll be taking her out any chance you get.

Mid 60's here today...supposed to get down to 32 tonight!!

Here's why I don't winterize. Today was 62 and the streets were clear. The bike was a little hard to start, I should have had the battery on charge. With the snow and bitter cold, I hadn't ridden since Thanksgiving. What I need is a prime position on my petcock. I think all the fuel evaporated from my float bowls. Tomorrow will be 65, but then winter will return on Friday evening when we'll get some of that storm from CA.

i got the bike out everyday its dry with no rain forcasted whether its 65 out or 15.

Nah,,, Rode yesterday. 51 in the am, and 70 on the way back home. We're suppose to reach the 80's this weekend.:drool:

winterizing is for wimps. If its not snowing, you shoudl be riding it
