Does anyone here design their own graphic art? Ive been hacking at Corel for a few weeks and its a great program, can do just about anything. Still could use some guidance though. What else is good? What else should i be using?

I do a lot of work with photoshop and 3ds max. Mostly NASCAR stuff for a video game. Let me see if I can find any recent work.

i am a graphic designer and have used mostly photoshop for advertising purposes (altering photos and such). i've always used adobe illustrator to create logos, and quarkxpress for any type of page layout (flyers, ads etc). all 3 of these are pretty much industry standard for designers, but are pretty pricey to buy just for messing around at home.

http://x11.putfile.com/1/218135050.jpg I didn't do the paint on this one, this is just a 3ds render I did for a friend. I can't find any paint jobs I have done recently because I got my bike and kinda took a vacation from painting.

I was into that a few years ago, when I was at "film school" but that fizzed out and I pretty much reatianed only the Photoshop knowledge. I will see if I have some buddies in that industry still...perhaps they can help you out.

www.discreet.com It's like $3000 if you buy it. Then I also have a plugin called Brazil which is another $1000.
