mmmmmmmmmmmmm Starbucks! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Vente Carmel Macciato.. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm that's one reason I stay away from that place. I loose $$ on that froo froo coffee crap. I just buy the beans there, grind um here at home, and off I go. I also like my coffee black. I actually drink coffee all day. The 50/50 or pure caffeine stuff, I drink till about 11ish, then it's decaf. It's not the rush from coffee that I like, it's the taste and the smell.. damn the smell! that alone is addicting.

Cut it cold turkey... its the only way. Plus change your route to work so you avoid all Starbucks... Do I need to call for a intervention? :willy: This is impossible. Do not attempt. You wil NOT make it to work if you try to avoid the Starbucks. There are 3 on every street corner in every city...(except Hanover, allegedly). Go to work via Hanover PA and you might come out on the other side safely.

If you figure out how to stop let me know ASAP so I can pass it too my wife.:tt: I was gonna buy her a gift certificate for Christmas for a years worth, started doing the math:yikes: I quickly decided against that option and decided to buy myself something instead. I love coffee but she drinks the foofoo stuff. I went with her, she didn't even have to order. We got to the counter and the lady was like, "Good morning Leigh." then turned and told the other girl the order. My wife just smiled and said, "Atleast every 9th one is free."......Ya, that helped.:cursin:

there is one right across the street in the plaza from my house. I catch my parents there all the time (Mom mostly). I have at least 1-2 cups of coffee a day anymore. Does anybody order just regular black coffee from Starbucks anymore? Thats what I drink and whenever I go in there thats all I order. It almost baffles the employees  They are used to this 45 step order, when you just want a black coffee, its the old deer in the headlights syndrome.

If you want the best cup of coffee in your life, go out and purchase a coffee press. It's a glass cylinder with these metal plates inside. Grind up your coffee, put it between the plates, pour boiling water over it, screw the top on, and slowly press the coffee down. You know that bitter taste you get from coffee makers, you'll never get it with this. It sounds like a chore, but it really isn't. It takes about 3 mins. and you'll be in heaven once you taste it.
