Driver hits four motorcyclists

A driver ran a red light Tuesday in the middle of the day and hit four motorcyclists http://www.rockymountainnews.com/drmn/local/article/0,1299,DRMN_15_4379440,00.html. The article states the brand of car and bikes, and states the riders wore no helmets, but doesn't say if the driver wore a seat belt. Now I was out on Sunday afternoon and riding in 44 degree weather. I had warm clothing on, but the 3 or 4 cruiser riders I saw had no helmets on. Several wore wool hats, but one rider didn't and his face was cherry-red. I guess that was his thing. Anyway, with the playoffs on TV, the streets had light traffic and they were dry.

When are these law enforcement agencies and DOTs of the states going to do something to crack down on this crap. Red light running!! :damn:

I bet she was on the phone... they should check her phone records- if she was on the phone at the time- they should charge her ass with 4 counts of attempted manslaughter. Here in Houston we have red light camera's but they really don't prevent anyone from running the red lights. It just makes it possible for the city to write more citations. $$$ City Revenue $$$
